I jumped for joy at news of the crash air france flight 447. I love watching the plane sink to its watery grave. I enjoy hearing the passengers screaming for help. The sound of drowning
passengers gasping for air is music to my ear. The bottom of atlantic ocean is a awesome place to sleep on. The moment the jet broke up in midair must have been a kodak moment. I'm disappointed that the death toll is so low. A bunch of bodies floating on the atlantic ocean would've been an awesome sight.
@kyotoda6675 are u sub human u moron how in gods name have you even got this far id sink a sweeping brush up ur ass see if u do like the feeling of pain u moronic piece of filth
Niagara Falls, NY and Niagara Falls, ON are cities in USA and Canada. The Niagara River is divided as the border between the falls and Lake Ontario. Two of the falls, Bridal Veil and American Falls are totally within New York state. The Horseshoe (aka Canadian) Falls is divided between Ontario and New York.
From about 0:07 to 0:50 we were flying over New York state, after that over Ontario. From 1:43 to 2:08 gives a good view of Goat Island, Grand Island and SW edge of Niagara Falls, NY, USA.
Leave from Toronto-YYZ, fly to Niagara Falls, a few crazy-low pass 'stunts' over some farms, and return to Toronto-YYZ. The total flight time was about one hour.
before 911, pilots used to allow kids and some people to enter the cockpit.. my last cockpit ride was back in june 2001 aboard a 777 from london to dubai.i was about 12 that time and now im doing flying lessons. btw. this video was great! two thumbs up!
you just jealous if you wouldnt get to see all the shatterd air plane pieces ,and the niagrafalls and river red with all the blood ,and the maide of themist boat sunk too. , just another day at niagrafalls! huh????
haha this is one of thoes stupid planes that fly over my house everyday, they scare me cuz i work at the skylon tower which is the second tower builing thing you see in this video, and ya i always think of 9-11 and start to freak
Absolutely phenomenal footage of Niagara Falls from the air. A humbling God's-eye view. And taken from the late great Canadian Airlines. Thank you for this.
this video has to be old....i was looking for the embassy suites hotel that i stayed in and i cudnt find it...embassy suites is right next the building at 1:18 sec ...that buidling is konica minolta
i live in Niagara Falls too, i had some people tell me, "oh you live in Niagara Falls, that must be awesome". Yes it is awesome but if u see the falls once u seen it 10 times, it get boring after living there for 13 years
Advertised in the newspaper... cost 30$... money to charity. Canadian Airlines provided the B-767, and the crew donated their time. Three or more flights were operated throughout the day, since they sold more than a thousand tickets. If I remember correct, this was the last flight, so we were able to walk around under the airplane, since it wasn't flying to Niagara Falls again.
I live in the falls. The barge has been there for years and years. It was too dangerous to move, so it was left there. It can clearly be seen from the shore.
I loved being able to go up in the cockpit as a little kid and that made me decide to want to become a pilot. But now since 9/11 i can't do that any more and that sucks.
No, its not illegal to have video cameras. Very few things interfere with nav. equipment, and the only things that can are electronics which transmit and recieve data. Cell phones, WiFi-enabled devices, etc.
A video camera does not transmit any data, therefore is benign to aircraft equipment.
To be honest? Honesty. Some people dont turn on flight mode on their iPhones. Its there, but some people don't use it. So rather than being safe than sorry, we ask that you just turn it off completely.
Does it sound stupid? Yes. I couldnt agree more. But the FAA sets guidelines that airlines must follow. That is a guideline. The way I see it... you can last the duration of your flight without worrying about missing a call, you know? Dont wanna sound ruse, but those are the regs. Take Care! =)
Ahhh... the good old days when you were actually allowed to go into the cockpit without being arrested and called a terrorist. The world is just not the same anymore.
very little effect. even wide body plane is not wide enough compared with the wing span. for flying wing transport plane (not yet existing) the plane will roll.
probably nothing as the body of an aircraft is in the centre of a wing span very wide relative to the body width. rebalancing would be a real problem only if everybody moved to the front or the back.
great video but how old is this i know you can not go into the cockpit while inflight only before take while at the gate and after landing also while at te gate.
that's some good zoom and aiming control you have with that camera :) i usually stay in the sheraton just behind the skylon tower whenever i'm up there... and yeah it is true, the damn canadians definitely do have a better view of the falls! xD
Wow. What an office! Now I understand why all men and women up in the blue always say that their office has got the best view. Call me sentimental but the joy and happiness that one can hear in that video from the passengers, must be priceless. I'd love my job too flying that route! :-)
More than a hundred people were through that cockpit and nobody did anything bad! How about that? Seems the only thing that happened was after the flight; one of two kids who were fascinated by the MLG tires became burnt by contacting some part of the brakes when playing there. The heat retention is surprising. Of course their mom was oblivious until the screaming and crying started.
Excellent video. I have been to Niagara Falls once, but to see it from that height is unbelievable! Its a shame our future generations won't be able to visit cockpits again.
