  • The hair up and the glasses are working beautifully

  • "get there firstest with the mostest" Mrs lima is right, if you can't employ your weapon precisely, it doesn't matter what caliber you are shooting. If you can shoot straight. Drop 8 rounds or 17, the question is did you drop your targets?

  • I have always been a revolver fan. most kids cannot cock the hammer, or if double action, cannot pull the trigger. They are very simple, no springs, no slides getting stuck, no magazine problems or whatever... I have a big .44 mag. I plan on getting my THL...

1911's are too big to be anything but competition guns or a stay home guns, but my 'next' gun is a Springfield 1911... I want in a .40 cal but I can easilier handle a .45 ACP... this would be my home protection...

  • @scarredman42 WTH?? 45 ACP is only stay at home/competition? That's all the balls I'm busting on that comment. Holler at me if you need some help.

  • @XGCScrappy hey... all I'm saying is that a 1911 is hard to conceal. Yes, I want a 1911 and I have a big .44 mag revolver, but those cannot be a very good concealment carry...

And... I know you can get compact in the 1911s, but is it really the mofo 1911 that it used to be?

    Was MiniMe really Dr. Evil?

and I know you can get 1911s in .22lc, 9mm, or .40 cal but really it is the carbon copy of the 1911 .45 ACP... Hope you have a nicer day...

  • FNH FIVE-SEVEN

  • Sorry 45s are too big to heavy I have use .357 / 38 for 30 yrs normally

but have carried two different 380s at special events that was loan to me.

Saw the S/W Body Guard and is thinking of getting one only because it

had more rounds then my .357 I am getting older and there is less of a kick with a 380

  • Very sexy

  • @DKnott86 in a time is life situation you'd ideally like to put no more than 3 rounds max in an assailant and keep moving because you're not accounting for multiple threats. do us all a favor and please stop talking out of your ass. to say caliber doesnt matter is a statement often uttered by those that have never seen combat. which is fine because i dont expect everyone to of been in a gunfight. but to say it with such bravado is a clear exemplification of a person's ignorance of such......

  • @ladyfeind hi!I think you need to make a decision.Revolver or semi automatic?Personally I do not recommend .45 .Too much recoil and loads of power what you might not need for self defines, close encounter.Easy maintenance, cheap 38 ammo, practicing a lot,no problems occur because of failure of ammo = S&W 442 with practice.Lightweight, easy to carry and fire 38+p.Or .40 cal Glock 23(or 27 is smaller).Reliable as well, almost as easy to maintain than a rev and very handy, powerful. No safety to worry ab

  • By the way what state do you live in?

Not in a creepy sort of way.

Just wondering what state has good looking women with common sense.

  • the glock on the other hand i have no experience with i currently own a hk usp compact 9mm. i like the modified browning action and the gun handles well and i have never had a problem of any sort with it i also like having a hammer i'm not really a fan of striker fired weapon, but i hear all good things about glock. idk the 10mm and the 45 are completely different rounds, but seem to be frequently compared for general reliability and personal defense take down power what route would you recomend

  • i'm in the market for a new hand gun and i was thinking of going to either a 45 1911 4inch either a wilson combat or on the lower end a higher dollar kimber, but while doing research i came across a glock 20 that shoots the 10mm round. now i'm not really sure what to do lol. the small difference in ammo price is not a big deal to me but availibility is. i have always wanted a really nice 1911 and i'm coming to find out they can be a handful in terms of maintaince with certain models and brands.

  • she has got that naughty look at times , ( hot in certain way ) she can protect me anytime

  • marry me

  • I recomend AK. CUz if someone is about to hurt your familu. THat person must die, and not go to JAil,, BUT die.

  • I never said there was any legislation that prohibits reloads for self defense, only that it was a bad idea to use reloads for self defense. Prosecuting attorneys can and do use reloads against justified shooters. Inconsistencies in powder residue, the type of tip, all of these things can be used against an individual in court. If you don't think that happens I invite you to read some articles by Ayoob where he has defended such cases. He strongly recommends against reloads for defense.

  • Uh, how in the hell are the police going to know that someone used reloaded shells?

  • state the act and section that prohibits reloads for self defence

  • whoooo your hot i can watch ya all day talking about gun's and ammo >.<

  • You did an excellent job in your videos. My wife and I are NRA firearms instructors, and I can see your videos being very good references for a "women only" class. Again - well done!

  • I've heard that the .22 Magnum can be a rather effective self-defense round, because upon penetration, it bounces around, causing all sorts of internal damage. Is this true?

I'm personally a fan of almost any pistol caliber above .380. They all have their strengths and weaknesses :P. I guess rather than one being superior to others, it's rather there's at least one for everybody right? :D

  • you should do some hunting babe

  • whats a reload thanx :)

  • @nickalarz a reload is when you take the brass of use round and reload it with gun-powered and another bullet

    i think..............

  • I use and prefer my XD-40 sub compact for carry. My Springfield 1911 is on my night stand for the house though. Good video! You rock!

  • I think that 9mm, or .45 are the best. Just seems like a good middle of power, recoil, etc. But if you're starting, than .22 is probably the best bet.

  • The 380 was my main carry until just recently when I moved to the 45. I was very surprised how controllable my new gun is even though it is a 45. It was expensive, but I think worth the money. My guess is the lower end 45s probably have less control. I was influence by what people say about the 45 kick and would have picked it sooner if I had known the kind of difference the gun can make.

  • Do you have any opinions on the Glock 31 .357 Sig?? I really want one of these because of they type of round it is. .40 jacketed down to a 9mm bullet, and ill probably carry hollow point rounds. I just like the power, accuracy, and capacity of this round and wanted a 2nd opinion because my friends are all stupid and don't really know anything about calibers. They're the "oh yeah .44 magnum or .45 is the only thing that will stop people" type of guys.

  • The best caliber is the 9X21. (c'mon is the caliber, not for Hunting, but is the caliber..) I LOVE it 500 SW For amusement (and bears) 454 Casull For amusement (and bears) 44 Dirty Harry, u have to use with Mod. 29 or Desert Eagle 45 LC (SAA) Cowboy shooters 357 I LOVE it! 45 I LOVE it! Fbi and Reservoir Dogs (Gang caliber: now Lima hit me with a ROD :-) 40 I really don't know (policemen love it sooo much...) 38 Detective Revolvers 22 Range champions shooters! Don't hate me so much :) Ciao!!

  • I think how you can handle the weapon is the most important factor followed by accuracy. Say you have a seven round clip, if you need all seven rounds plus more to neutralize the threat, you are either outgunned, or you are way too trigger happy. It will serve you in application and in court to fire less rounds, and not always shoot to kill. A well placed shot to the center of mass is often enough to convince whoever is after you to stop. No one likes being shot. Two shots if you are paranoid.

  • Hey limalife, I didn't understand the part when you were talking about "reloads" what are they? are they like a cheaper brand of ammunition that are dodgey?

  • @blondbassist A "reload" is when you collect your spent brass casings and use a reloading device to load them with gunpowder, a new slug, and a new blasting cap. This is rather economical because you can reuse your casings rather than having to buy brand new boxes of ammo every time. There's lots of flexibility with how you reload your rounds (little more or less powder, etc.), but factory (store bought) ammo has strict testing done to it before sale, which tends to make it more reliable. :)

  • i love this girl

  • As you say, the best caliber is the biggest you can handle. I couldnt agree more. Im a wheel gun sort, but I tend to go with a .40 which as you say is between the 9mm and the .45.

  • I like the way you say finicky. Thumbs up.

  • @greta810dos i disagree the 9mm is a very common caliber and and fairly accurate, personally i use a m92fs and i will trust this gun with my life .

The 9mm really has some good stopping power ,I like the 9mm

  • i luv u part 2

  • She knows her stuff!!! Good vid, keep them coming!!!

  • magic bullet with weight and velocity is the .40 S&W

  • i luv a woman who can take care herself and u cute

  • there is a quote that says any gun will do if you will do.

  • Not boring at all. I was totally satisfied. I needed that.THANKS!!

  • HOT :D

  • You should only hunt what you are going to eat or what poses a threat to you or your community... you Should not let valuable meat, go to waist.

And it's very stupid to go out hunting with a pistol and you Probably don't care about the animals feelings because pistols are far from the accuracy of a 1 shot, 1 kill efficiency that the rifle can have, except you are a really good shot or can get really close for that perfect head or heart shot.

A wise hunter respects his pray, that is all

  • Nonsense. You can hunt just fine with a high caliber handgun and a scope. And given that you can kill a cow or deer with 9MM, .44 Magnum or .45LC will definitely get the job done, too.

  • Ummmm.... No.

  • Hiya,

Thanks for the wonderful videos (including 1911). I wonder if you could share some thoughts on 7.65 (.32) for home and personal defense. I am in India, and this is the maximun allowded for civilians.

Also the choice of guns.. how is Walther PPK/S or CZ 83? Anything better in this category?

    Cheers

  • It depends on what state you're in. I'm almost positive you can hunt with a Smith & Wesson .500 if you wanted to. As long as the barrel is 5 and a half inches long, I could use a handgun chambered in .22 for deer or bear. Not like I'd want to... Just piss a bear off with that...

  • Good point about the reloads. I use factory, mostly because I care too much about the gun to put anything less than factory fresh in, also because I have no room for the reload equipment anyway. But a lot of people that reload would carry reloads for defense. If they ever need to defend themselves they'd need to substantiate how powerful the reloaded round was

  • I have a Bersa Thunder .380 w/ alternated Cor-Bon Pow'R Ball & Cor-Bon DPX.

  • Just aim high

  • Humm I wonder if someone practiced with the unnecessary .5 caliber, they would later find a .45 to be tamable... sort of like putting a weight on the end of your bat before you actually have to swing at a ball?

    I personally am a 1911 Colt .45 fan ;-)

  • Not really. If you aren't practicing proper stance, grip, sight alignment and trigger control it doesn't matter what you were practicing with, you'd still suck when you went back to your regular calibers. Also, practicing a LOT with very high calibers is very hard on the hands, elbows and even shoulders. Only perfect practice makes perfect and anything you learn properly on a low caliber will directly transfer to your higher calibers. I'd rather practice with .22 or 9mm.

  • @limalife 9mm is not exactly a "small round". Certainly when it is coming from the end of my spring field armory xd subcompact with speer gold dots +p 124gr I'd rather be hit with a .380 or .22 :P

  • @limalife Having just discovered your channel, you state many things I realized...my primary handgun is a .32 ACP. It's "relatively" small, but I can hit my target under duress 90%+ of the time. I am shopping for another handgun and considering a 9mm but would not discount a .380 at all.

  • @aeckstrand003 Any shooting is good shooting as long as you do things right. That is use proper stance, trigger control etc. The problem a lot of people have when they shoot large calibers and move down is they tend to anticipate recoil. That's not really a good thing. You don't want to be jerking or jumping when shooting your .40sw after you came from your .500 Best thing to do is practice with what you carry IMO.

  • oh ..........so are u only into handguns or ae u into anything that can be used like a weapon for example a ka-bar because thats one of my fav. close range combat technique ,also do u like assault rifles and submachineguns becuse i know a few and would like to talk them over with u sometime when u can and i know i keep saying this but

WOW YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL WITH GLASES ON NOT ALOT OF WOMEN CAN PULL IT OF BUT WOW NOW THAT IS AMAZING!!

and am one of the biggest sniper fanatic i love them alot

  • yeah but hey ur pretty cute with glasses on and i have a question,i dont know if it is just me but u sound like if u have a british accent, and i was wondering, are u british

  • I've been told that a lot.. No, I'm not British. I'm a typical American Mutt composed mostly of German and Irish heritage.

    *shrugs*

Oh well. Of course true Brits would say I sound absolutely NOTHING like them.

  • what do you think about the glock 17 (and others) and sigs?

  • One day i will probably end up purchasing a G19. I love sigs. I've always wanted a 239. We had a 220SAO not long ago. I also like the new 238. Sigs are great firearms.

  • @limalife fast forward 1 year, you're carrying a 4th gen G19 lol

  • i like a regular barrett m9 pistol but ur cute with glasses on

  • Good pistols. The best groups I ever got were with an M9.

  • i thought the M9 was a version of the 92f beretta pistol not a barrett, or do i have my facts wrong?

  • It's Beretta, the above was a probably a typo...

  • Texas DPS switched to the 357 Sig for a reason because the 45 Sig 220 were performing poorly in shootings. The Winchester 230 grain hollowpoint ammo wasn't working.U.S. Border Patrol were getting great results with the 9mm 115 grain hollowpoint +p+ Winchester .Shot placement.I carried a G19 with 124 +P+ Hydra Shoks,a member of are dept used his weapon with said ammo and killed the bad guy with 3 shots.I round was a complete pass through center mass. Both Hydra Shoks were in a perfect mushroom .

  • I'm in law enforcement, and I personally know officers who have turned suspects into swiss cheese with 9mm rounds, and it didnt put them down. There have been studies that have shown that even if you are shot in the heart, there is enough residual blood left in the body to live on for 20 more seconds, which is enough time for a bad guy to kill you. Basically, if you dont shoot someone in the head and knock out the body's computer, you have to put them down through blood loss.

  • My recommendation, get a .45. The object of a gunfight, is to win. If a 6'4", 250 lb parolee high on PCP breaks into your house looking for stuff to steal to buy more PCP, and you're holding a 9mm...you're actually holding a paperweight. Accuracy is not that big of an issue. You arent sniping with the weapon. 99% of all gunfights take place within 25 yards. If you cant hit a man sized target at 25 yards with a .45, you shouldn't own a gun. The best safety is the shooter.

  • Good video.

What kind of struck a nerve with me is how you said, "It's what works best for you." It's not what works best for you, but it's also what works worst for the criminal.

I've seen two police depts. switch from the 9mm to the .40 and .45 after a serious shooting incident. Both shootings were very good grouping on the officers part. Unfortunately one incident took 12 shots and the other incident took 18 shots to bring the suspects down. Both of the suspects were not on drugs.

  • @td84 I have to agree with her on this. A large rifle cal hunting pistol will certainly work worst for the criminal, but is not practical for most people to use as a ccd weapon. 12 and 18 9mm rounds to stop 1 person at typical police shootout ranges? Sounds like poor shot placement. I am not a fan of the 9mm but it does have enough stopping power that 12 rounds ( or 18! ) are not needed if good shot placement is achieved.

  • @steelcandy It's not poor shot placement, and if you read my posting I made two-years ago it states it was good shot placement on both accounts. All shots were center mass, and yes I did see the actual shot placement wounds. Two-days ago I saw a gunshot victim of a .38 Special JHP enter the leg and exited the kneecap, and the victim walked into the emergency department.

I still standby that it's not what's best for you but what is worst for the criminal.

    Take care and stay safe!

  • i watched a video where they showed 9mm and .45 penatrate more in home walls than a rifle in 5.56

  • I would not want a round to exceed it's intended target. It is a huge liabilty on the user if they penetrate their inteded target. Stick with a proven JHP self defense round, and yes not all JHP rounds are the same. Read the testing data. With that being said, I will say a 5.56 will go through body armor more effectively than a 9mm or .45 Auto. When I carry on the job I will use my rifle first if I'm forced into a situation of self defense.

  • you forgot a 5th reason to buy a gun... the 2nd amend...the right to keep and bear arms.....all the other reasons fall under this right.....

  • Why is .380 the minimum? .22 Win Mag has 100 ft lbs of energy more than the .380 ACP. Also .22 Win Mag has 50 grain federal hollow points at 300 ft lbs energy, whereas .380 ACP is usually around 200 ft lbs energy.

  • U r AWESOME. Its hard to find a woman who is confident, knowledgeable, and truly enjoys shooting sports. One thing i will say is that i was talking to a former range officer for the FBI and he told me that the plain jane ball ammo in 45acp will get the job done. It moves slow enough that it wont over penetrate and its like throwing a brick at someone. Anyways gr8t vid 5/5

  • Better be careful talking like that, someone will put you on a hook...once...

  • It's just a movie reference, Johnny Dangerously. :)

  • I shoot my best groups with a .454 casull. Good gun for shooting deer and wild hogs. If it has a scope mount its almost like a conceilable sniper rifle if your wearing a trench coat.

  • Who is this chick? God shes so cute and knows guns. Call me sweetie.

  • shes married with a child lol

  • Well, how could anyone pass up a gem like her!?! Confident, knowledgeable, and cute as hell!

  • for home defense i would use a 12. gauge shotgun.

  • Tru Dat! A pistol is better for carrying.

  • Thank you for your videos :) I've recently gotten interested in guns, my boyfriend loves guns and wants to own his own gun store :P

  • you're adorable.

  • Your videos are really, really great. Subscribed, and 5/5. U-R-AWESOME!

  • You do seem to have a very extensive knowledge of semi autos, I am also a pistol man and I currently carry a Smith & Wesson SW99. I have found this gun outperforms any Glock I have tested and even a few H&K handguns in side by side testing. This particular SW99 is in .40 caliber and I have yet to have any kind of mechanical trouble out of it. I also agree with the Wilson Combat .45 autos, the best .45 on the market but I prefer the protector myself. Great video, very informative

  • Im guessing its a small kimber or a old colt mustang

  • I am also curious what brand / size .45auto do you carry as your main gun.

  • I have a couple to choose from but it usually comes down to either a Wilson Combat Professional or a Kimber Ultra CDP.

  • Wilson combats are amazing great guns I hate kimber though but cool I enjoyed your vids are you gonna be making a new video soon?

  • Newer Kimbers, yeah, I'd have to agree with you, but the old pre-series IIs are some FINE firearms. I will never buy another Kimber unless it's a pre-series II in .45ACP.

I think it goes without saying then that the one I carry is a pre-series II.

  • i was thinking on getting a new kimber what dont you like about the newer ones thanks i love you vids

  • Oh, and yes, my Wilson Combat kicks SERIOUS ass.

I would love to do another video. I'm hoping to do one soon. I just might do it on my Wilson. I think I only show it in one video and only for a brief time.

  • People stop googleing over this women. She should be able to make a nice video with out every question or comment being omg your hot bla bla bla! Grow up guys please!

    Great vidoe thanks !

  • you said you carry a .45.... which one do you carry and how do you conceal it?

  • I carry either a Wilson Combat Professional or a Kimber Ultra CDP.

If you watch my holster videos you will see how I conceal them.

  • This has probably been said before but.... YOUSE CUTE OMG *drool*

  • Happy to see women protect themselves. I like a 45acp not because it's better or worse but because it feels good in my hands and I can actually hit the side of a barn. :-)

Remember, aim for the nuts! No mercy. :-)

In all seriousness, I hope you never have to shoot anyone but I think it's good to be prepared.

    -Bill

  • Look, there are only two calibre's to consider. 10mm and 9mm. If you want to shoot fast, go 9mm. If you want power, use 10mm.

  • yeah... except there are tons of other rounds that are more than ample for personal defense. ntm you didn't include any revolver rounds and revolvers are among the most carried defense weapons out there

  • You're right! Not sure how I overlooked them. I've been considering redoing the "choosing your first handgun" videos for a while. Every time I watch them I find something else I forgot or overlooked. This might be a good excuse.

    Thanks for the reminder!

  • Hi Limalife, Thanks for your reply to my post. I used to love my 1911 and my third gen s&w 9mm before the U.K ban. Congratulations on your baby by the way! I wondered if you have tried the Browning HI-Power, Same designer as 1911, Smaller frame, Tighter action.

    Enjoy.

    Mark

    reddog694

  • you mean to tell me you just gave up your guns because of a ban? you have no gun now?

  • No, None at all. In britain, law abiding citizens have no legal access to handguns, Only the criminals have the handguns, Great government eh?

  • i really feel for you brother, i would still keep an illegal handgun in the house in case the shit hits the fan

  • I agree, Unfortunately, both myself and the 250,000 ex handgunners in the u.k, we have no wish to commit an illegal act , even though the cause may be just . The british court system does not see the injustice that is inherent in the banning of our sport. Also, handguns are not a common commodity where i live, or i would have taken your advice a long time ago my friend.

  • All i can offer is if you ever find yourself in the U.S in the new jersey area i'll let you shoot my handguns till the cows come home :) all the best

  • I look forward to it my friend, The thought had crossed my mind to travel abroad for a shooting session. Thank You so very much for the offer!!

  • I thought you could own handguns, but they had to be stored at shooting ranges and there was a shitload of red tape involved.

God, it's worse than I thought. How do your olympic shooting teams practice? You do have olympic shooting teams still, right?

  • Hi, whilst awaiting certification i had to store mine at the club, once the admin was done it was no longer necessary. our shooting team coverage on tv was restricted to .177 air pistol shooting and .177 rifle shooting. as far as i am aware there is no full bore shooting team being fielded in the olympics, although i could be wrong since i have been off the scene for so long now. Long live your bill of rights!!

  • i think farmers in the uk are allowed guns but you need a special permit

  • Why would u have to justify how u reloaded ur ammo? How would this get u into trouble?

  • There have been cases where hot-loaded ammo has been accused of being loaded "just to kill" or where weak-loaded ammo looked, through lack of powder burns, as though the shot was taken from further away than the shooter claimed making him look like a liar and therefore murderer. I have read many such articles and cases and wouldn't risk it.

  • When you reload your own ammo the ballistics are much harder to prove. When you use a factory round, the ballistics are carefully tested, recorded, tuned, and tested again. This tends to hold up a lot better in court as no one can accuse a mass-manufacturer of ammunition as loading rounds "to kill."

  • you should go hunting it pretty fun

  • Listen sweetie, the calibre isn't important, It's the willingness to get it out and handle it properly, Failure to do either will result in poor performance when it matters. It's the same with guns too!!

    Mark.

  • I agree that willingness and mindset are both key and most important to any self-defense, but seeing as how this is a general caliber overview caliber does matter to some when it comes to cost or reloading (if, say, you were just target shooting) or effectiveness when it came to hunting and recoil when it comes to quick follow up shots or teaching a newcomer to shoot.

Caliber can be important in different circumstances.

  • I wish I could find a girl that liked to shoot..:] ha ha

  • Good videos. Very uneducated comments though. I have a different carry gun for every situation. Most often though it is my XD.45 or my Beretta 90-two.40. In wisconsin, you can not carry period, same for illinois. I have a carry permit that allows 32 states, I drive a truck and spend a great deal of time in 48 of our states. I carry in all 32 that allow me to. I have made it sort of a hobby to know the laws in each state regarding guns, and take great pride in it.

  • how would one go about finding out different gun laws for different states.

  • handgunlaws(dot)us is a good place to start.

  • Don't forget accuracy by volume.

  • I like a baseball bat. Don't have to clean it, and one home run swing to the head is all you need. But I'm a simple guy.

  • thanks for making these videos me and my dad just bought a .22 single action revolver. Also i do agree on the reloads, me and my dad were firing a mini 14 which shoots a .223 and 2 clips we had exploded and one was a banana clip which is now illegal to have.

  • In some US states, Wisconsin and Illinois for example, you are not allowed to fire upon a burglar unless he tries to harm you or someone else with deadly force.

So if he's just there, sees you, and hits you with his hand, you can't shoot him.

  • Not true. They do not have concealed or open carry. WI has castle doctrine and you do NOT have to wait until someone attempts to harm you by any means. Both states you can not use lethal force to protect property though.

  • um not true. I work for the Department of Corrections and work with district attorneys all the time. Additionally, Open Carry is not illegal however you will be arrested for disorderly conduct more than likely.

  • Technically you are right. There is no law outlawing open carry, but in most parts of the state the police will hassle you An open carry case was just won in the state a couple weeks ago so that is a plus for the citizens there.

  • Same here, the professionals don't want the extra pain that goes along with getting found guilty in a firearms related offense, it is the idiots who run amok that are the problem... But one of those, Son of Sam, he was taken out by a citizen, legally armed, while the police sat around wondering what to do.

  • I fully support peoples right to carry a weapon. But you are wrong about the capture of son of SAM, he was arrested by detectives. No armed citizen involved in that story. look it up!

  • In the USA it usually takes the police a minimum of 20 minutes to get to the 'scene of the crime' so, they end up basically taking note of where the body lies and what was taken for an insurance report... Do German Police respond quickly enough to actually get there and stop a crime in action? We have this thing that has gotten very popular in some of our larger cities called a "Home Invasion" this is where some punks break in when you are HOME, specifically to screw with you...

  • There is the political truth and there is reality. The political truth is that global warming is a certified fact. The reality is that it is cold as hell here in Michigan. The political truth is that gun control reduces crime. The reality is gun control is to protect criminals from the consequences of their actions.

  • In a European state with a police station every 300 yards self defense boils down to yelling. In the United States you can still find places where you won't see a building for 300 miles, not to mention the urban areas where the police are basically there to mop up afterwards. It is simply a different reality here in the states.

  • self defense isnt a pistol its called a SHOTGUN!

  • i'm sorry but your voice makes me so horny. you should be a customer service person.

  • i got a springfield XD 9mm and a Glock 39 A.C.P they both kick ass

  • How about a .22LR in close quarters? With good shot placement, even .22LR should be effective right?

  • yes and no.

  • elaborate...

  • Technically you could kill somebody with a well placed pellet gun shot. Its just not something you would want to place your life on. A .22LR can definately be lethal if you know how to use a gun, but it completely lacks the stopping power needed for self defense. Stick to 9mm, 40, 45 etc. A 22LR is really for range and small game shooting. But to answer your question, with good shot placement, yes it can be effective, but I would prefer larger calibers if my life depended on it.

  • id get a hollow point for self defense lol

  • quite true.

  • When I get my concealed carry license I'll probably carry a Springfield XD .45 and if I go with a revolver I'll carry a .357 more than likely.

  • I'm considering buying my first handgun to keep for CCW personal protection, home defense and combat shooting. I have always loved the 1911 design & the knockdown power of the 45acp round. I'm considering buying the Kimber pro TLE II. I get the features of the SWAT full sized model, but in a smaller package. Does this gun seem to fit the bill for what I want in my first handgun purchase? What is your opinion of Kimber (specifically this model)?

  • What do you and you other guys think about the hk p30?? thx

  • I like the S&W M&P .40cal.

  • 300 rounds? If you had 300 rounds you are bound to hit something lol. Nice vids I like the step by step explanations.

  • I'll take a .45 ACP

  • Thanks for your videos. It is so hard to find informative and positive information about guns, especially in regards to defensive purposes. Thank you again for all you are doing.

  • i like my glock 32c its compact holds 13 rounds and is a .357 this has more muzzle velocity than a 40 and harder hitting than a 45 it works for me.

  • I like by Glock 22 in .40 S&W. It has a great mix of accuracy and stopping paper.

P.S. Desert Eagles in .50 AE are the greatest joke ever devised on the dumbass gun buying community.

  • Wow, if it's stopping paper all those USans don't have to fear home evictions, bankruptcies and job losses any more.

    Does it even stop d0llars?

  • i actually prefer the desert eagle .50

  • sure you do.

  • the 5th reason is having

  • A 9mm Parabellum. Better known as Luger. First invented in 1908. It's a really good choice for self defense (IN THE RIGHT LOADINGS). A Glock 17 is a great choice for a person not familiar with firearms. I like the 1911 myself and a VERY close second the CZ 75b. Yes, there is a safety to manipulate. first shot with single action is good from a tactical point of view. That said a .22 is better than a sharp stick.

  • thank you all for your help. Last week I went with a friend to a local gunshop, and I just felt in love with the beretta PX4 storm in .40sw. I just got it today and its exactly what I was looking for; perfect chape, feeling, and power. My second buy will be the little ruger LCP or the Kel-tec in .380. I think any of these is a must have for concelaled carry down here in miami where I live.

  • oh! I forgot to say...: I know glock is a great gun maker, but is for not for me, i've tried some, and just dont like them, I preffer SA/DA over the tricky trigger, and kinda like an external hammer.
