If they had this song for the new Soul Calibur my jaw would drop. What happened to the music quality? Each to their own and I guess the new direction of gaming has changed. This intro remains one of the best I think.

I absolutely LOVED this song, i never played soul edge though? I only remember from soul calibur 2 and onwards, where the hell did I hear this song though, i remember being a baby singing to it, it was amazing.

I remember unboxing my PS1 back in 97 or 98.

Here, in Europe, we had a demo disc called Demo One shipped with the console.

I popped the disc in, booted it.

The first thing I launched from the demo cd was a trailer for Soul Blade with that exact same music.

This was also the first time I saw a PS1 game.

Coming from the Genesis, I was blown away.

I ran to the store but I could never find this game.

But I'm SO getting this game from Ebay now. Thank you ! :)

You got to know your roots. Before Soul Calibur, there was Soul Edge/Blade. This blew Tekken out of the water in terms of graphics back in the day.
