If anyone has seen the MythBusters Episode where they lifted a 6 year old girl off the groud with baloons, they would have known that it would have taken more helium than this thing was capable of holding to even lift Falcon up 1 foot off the ground. They would have known that there was no way that Falcon was in there. And this Richard guy is a Scientist??? I would say more like an extremist with a whoredom for media attention

What surprises me most about this whole incident is that no one, not even the interviewed "experts" realized that there was no way that birthday balloon was large enough or had enough lift to raise the basket that was supposed to be under the balloon let alone a 50 lb kid. Watching this video reminds me of how naive people in the 50's were. I just can't believe that people today actually thought there was a kid in there. I'm not sure what is sadder, the hoax or the media attention it received.

My point was to illustrate to you, how your poor application of "natural selection" would've equally applied to those brave, smart people giving their lives for the rest of us.
