  • "Peace of mind, always has its price, don't you think? This is who you really are."

Felt like going back and finally cracking the backmasking. Am I right this time? (Don't know why I didn't try the pitch change earlier, that helped a ton.)

  • Nicely done!

  • If you guys have the RPG Maker program, then you can alot more hidden Easter Eggs. OR you can just go on the forums. IT's all very amazing how Lun managaed to create a series of this calibur.

  • The game is beginning to get profoundly creepy. I'm going to try and figure out the backwards thing with the record/reverse method previously mentioned, but as for the number codes... I think I'll just wait and see if it's explained in the game. Hah.

  • I should point out that the backwards speak there isn't "canon" as it's something I added (it's based on the backwards samples you hear normally, which don't seem to be saying anything that comprehendable).

And some of the number codes are, some aren't, and some you'll need to play through the game to understand :D

    Creepy, though, for sure.

  • Hey, you hid the British accent pretty well. :P I was wondering about those microphone sounds at the beginning/end, though.

  • I love the Estrana part of the game. I like how everything is slowly building up and then well for anyone who hasn't played this you're in for a real treat.

  • My feelings exactly.

  • Dammit, I know those are the number codes, but I never understood the translation of them on the forums. I have to try and figure that out.

  • The only things I've been able to piece together is this, although some of the the letters are off.

" (Unknown, possibly spoiler) HQ easier than Arastotstizi."

  • You got two of the words right! The code has nothing to do with the game itself, though.

  • Definitely 'is easier than', but I'm just as lost as you on the rest of it.

  • It's been a few days, so I hope Malefact won't mind if I point out that it says "Backmasking is easier than cryptography."

  • lolz. 'Tis the truth as well. Apparently they're both pretty difficult to decode though. I failed them both anyway.

  • In all fairness, they're pretty unusual (and long) words, which makes using telephone coding even more awkwards. The only helpful thing is that the first part of "backmasking" is 222 which can only really be "cab", "bac", "cac" "bab" or "acc", and 5 has to be a consonant.

Now that you know how it works, you should totally have a go at the codes in the game (if you don't know what they are / haven't tried already)!

  • Heh heh heh.

Not at all Jabbo, I'm happy you worked it out. Puzzles are there to be solved!

  • it's CSI: Guided... with Gaius as Grisham. lol

  • Hey, at least it's better than CSI: Miami.

  • Whoa! Was that backwards thing at the beginning before?

Anyway, I recorded and reversed it and I think it's:

    (Can't understand first part)

Always gets his prize, don't you think?

    This is who you are.

  • It's new, heh.

And...you're close. Props for speed though! Didn't think anyone would notice it so soon.

  • Hey, doesn't that Rhorn guy look a little familiar...

  • He looks better in black, though.
