The gun is a combination of many simple inventions. Gun powder, complex trigger mechanisms, modern machining techniques for the barrel and all its metal components, and of course the tools for fashioning the parts had to be available. Same with all modern day inventions. No single man can claim exclusive generation of ideas for all of modern day innovations.

You all do know that Mandarian, Cantonese, and the other chinese language came from teh three kingdoms??? Man came from wei, Can from Wu, and the other from Shu. Sry, i forgot what was the other language. Also, China started their conquest to the north, south, and west after the fall of the Jin Dynasty.

No they didnt come from there. Those languages and dialects were already in existence. The diaspora was just simply situated in those places.

but I'd really like to watch the entire thing in Mandarin instead. But I dont understand a lot of it haha, so the subtitles help a lot. Thanks

from what i heard, Cao Cao feared Guan Yu the most and Cao Cao was shown as the evil guy so people think of Guan Yu as like the guy who protects you from evil or something

plus i seen statues of guan yu and liu bei like in chinatowns and places where chinese people work at or live in im like what the heck? what happened to zhang fei or whats his name that is a brother of liu bei? i mean these i seen small statues of guan yu alot and im surprised and wondering what the hell did he do to earn a reputation as a god to the cinese people ill search that!

I watched this, but in Cantonese, not Mandarin. It's a good series. I liked the Chi Bi battle the most.

I watched it in Cantonese too. Someday I should watch the entire 84 episodes in Mandarin, since that's the language it was originally recorded in. :)

Same. The DVDs should have both Mandarin and Cantonese audio tracks. Available subtitles are Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English.
