Absolutely, but John wanted a guitar that he could tune down to C and still maintain clarity. Tuned that low, guitars tend to to get really muddy, so I intentionally designed this to be a very bright instrument.

Greetings John. I have always enjoyed your playing. I first remember hearing of you when I came across a guitar player magazine lesson you did years ago. Those voicings were so great I though I had better check you out. I also had the pleasure of attending your clinic in B.C. one summer.
