hey john, i don't know if you remember me, i'm zach from san jose. i used to take lessons from scott sorkin and tim volpichella. just wanted to tell you how much i love your playing, sounds so great on this video.
Absolutely, but John wanted a guitar that he could tune down to C and still maintain clarity. Tuned that low, guitars tend to to get really muddy, so I intentionally designed this to be a very bright instrument.
ive been away from the guitar for many years, and never heard of you till recently, you certainly have your own style, and a wonderful one it is,very deep, you inspired me to post this tune, but i sound like a hillbilly compared to you, keep posing please
Greetings again John..I also wanted to say how much I love this song and how much I appreciate your interpurtation of it. The melody is so beautiful, and your harmonic approach once again adds a new dimension to the music..I am always telling players I meet about your playing and when people start talking about Ben Monder I always point them in your direction..Keep it up John, we need you out there..
Greetings John. I have always enjoyed your playing. I first remember hearing of you when I came across a guitar player magazine lesson you did years ago. Those voicings were so great I though I had better check you out. I also had the pleasure of attending your clinic in B.C. one summer. I understand you have a connection with Ben Monder and I can definitly hear it. Your harmonic concept and feel for this music is really special John. Good for you.
