I bought Operation Bullpen -- awesome book --- Greg Marino is definately a charachter as is Lynne and the other bast***s that were doing those forgeries and forgery ring. Thanks for the recommendation it is a great read !!!! Tom I think if you called them ignorant and uneducated you would be better off then calling the Buyers morons (unless they know it is a fake).

Real quick that Mantle ball that was for sale from "goldsilverpawn"ebay account is actually the guys from the TV show Pawn Stars on the History Channel. Those guys seam to know what there talking about with other things but this is the second time since they dealt with that Lou Gehrig forged jersey that they got beat for,(Gehrig sale was bogus)..they always get forensic guys down there checking out autos but not this time,they once had a 1951 team yankees ball walk in but they could make a deal

ditto, forgeries are at an all time high, on ebay and the other collecting and trading websites, as well as counterfeit sports cards, altered patch cards, etc... the hobby is suffering from all the fraud, people are leaving the hobby, the smaller the hobby grows the less the value grows in the long term... scammers need to be boycotted!

These fakes make me sick to my stomach. I only will and prefer to buy my autographed baseball Hall of Fame memorabilia from these sellers/dealers, PSA/DNA, JSA, Mounted Memories, Steiner Sports, UDA, and TriStar, etc, if I am forgetting one let me know. Its funny how buyers cant even relize how fake these autographs really are, and I agree YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I have tried to educate people for years about autographs. They don't want to listen and they get defensive. If you look at my GAI video I do show people the difference between good Mantle autographs and Mantle forgeries.
