Most dogs with long ears will react like this, or similarly. I love that pouty face she puts on. There's no doubt she is 'peeved'. We always do Boke's outside, but when we let him go he STREAKS around the backyard. Always good for a chuckle.
yeah my weim does that after a bath or getting his ears cleaned. but he also just runs wild thru the house too afterwards. he hates both, but he gets them anyways. i try and praise him so much and give him treats during and after so he is starting to like them more. when my weim does the ear flappy thing, i call him propeller head!!
You have to take that poor dog to the vet and have his ears checked out! This is not funny or cute at all! The dog is obviously suffering from itching ears, either because they just need cleaning or they might be infected.
Thanks for your comment. This is how our dog has always reacted to having her ears cleaned. I did ask the vet about it, and he said that it is a typical reaction for dogs that hate the feeling of the cleaning solution in their ears. He suggested we clean her ears outdoors since she wouldn't have the soft carpet to try to rub the solution out on. We have done that ever since, and our dog no longer performs the dance. I appreciate your concern, as the breed does tend to get ear infections.

I am a dog lover to the core, I wouldn't be watching this if i thought they were hurting the dog. Who would'nt act like that after a cold wet cotton ball full of solution was stuff down in their ear? Human or creature My dog act the same way every time...it is normal/safe/vet directions approved! lol They have to get their ears cleaned somehow once a week like or not.

I think a trip to a vet is in order. Your dog clearly has an ear infection.
