  • very good rem back in the day

  • Great playing, sound and feel man! Many people don't know that hofner basses were commonly used in early reggae... not only for beatles music. I'll post a video of a reggae cover with my Hofner soon. Greetz!

  • @ALIONBASS Thanks very much man.. You're right, Hofners are great for reggae! Look forward to seeing your video :)

  • Good job, very nice.

  • @PortaleMedia Cheers!

  • you're the best sounding reggae bassist i've heard since aston and robbie. what strings are you using, and what model of bass is this? are you recording direct or thru fx? the tone is killer.

  • @dexfx69 Thanks very much indeed! It's the Contemporary Series Hofner Club Bass, the strings are just the standard Hofner branded strings that the bass comes with!

  • @mosquito751 Thanks! :)

  • Is the club bass body hollow?

  • @venomchaser88 Yes mate, the german made ones are completely hollow where as the contemporary series (american made) is hollow but with a block in the middle the help eliminate feedback issues/improve sustain.

  • @JaseDoBass thanks for replying.... Nice bass cover by the way ^_^

  • @venomchaser88 No problem, & cheers!
