wow i was born in texas and lived in williamsburg for like 9 years after that..but i really don't understand why people VACATION there. if you can't wear a bathing suit it is NOT a vacation. :p
We liked it a lot. This was our second trip there. First just the two of us. But it was so much fun that we took the whole family this last time, four kids and three grandkids.

That's why we stop at Virginia Beach before coming up to visit Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. That way we get both.
