I am a huge fan of the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. They are making a movie based off of the first novel and the main male protagonist is a Scottish highlander who I pictured as not one else but Gerard Butler. He is the perfect James Alexander Malcom MacKenzie Fraser to me.

When he retires, we plan to move back there (heck of a change for me, but his entire family is there, and he really wants it).
