I think this is the best live performance of this song. Just purely awesome. The second verse especially is sung with so much passion and love for the music. These truly are one of the greatest bands in history. I will pay my last two pennys to see Noel and Liam in the future.

I think his first performance for the band was on top of the pops playing Some Might Say (I think. Might have been Roll With It - can't remember). I've got that Stop the Clocks EP too. Guess it must have been taken from later on in 1995 when they were on tour.

Correct. His first gig was in Bath Pavillion the day before Glasto. His first performance however, was a playback rendition of Some Might Say at TOTP. Unsure of the date... could be on the same day as the Bath gig.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you to ignore ANY of their albums. Of course some are better than others but all of them contain some absolute gems. Once you have the studio albums then dig out any quality live bootlegs you can get hold of. Oasis have always been about history: making it themselves and channeling it in the form of their influences. Get hold of everything you can and embrace the story and legend. It's a trip!

compare this to the performance a year before at glasto, and his voice has come into its own. Though the more innocent sounding voice sung on them early demo's i personally prefer. Such a good vocal.
