I think that how to sharpen straight razor what's made a few round edge is moved likes a few round. And Don't push strong,because the blade is ground full concave by maker.Japanese barber thinks the straight razor shapening moves likes 8 latter.
Is it difficult think ?

strange way to sharpen, arent you supposed to drag the blade across rather than push it across?

@chizzy555 he's moving his razor a little faster than I would feel comfortable doing but he is honing correctly.
you 'drag' the edge behind the spine when you strop and 'push' the edge first when you hone ^_^
