Ask them to use General Anaesthetic when u have to get them pulled out. they will prob take all 4 of them out so they dont give u any trouble in the future tats what they did with me.
and they are able to put u the sleep and they will nub ur jaw so u dont feel pain when u wake up but that freezing only last's about an hour. the dentist will give u a prescription to get pain killers.

This is not the correct way to remove wisdom's. I should know. This is back-century mid-evil procedures that also followed incorrect ADA guidelines. Someone could report this.
That's an oldschool method of oral surgery, these times dental surgeons don't use hamers, instead they use high speed handpieces and surgical burs to section the tooth, that makes it easier, less invasive and traumatic to the surrounding structures (gum, bone and other teeth).
you should get a medal of endurance for that procedure. I had to get my tooth drilled into smaller pieces..but i didn't get any stitches and a cut was made..

But that is messed up you were still able to feel and remember ANYTHING!! I believe the dentist was breaking the tooth into smaller pieces to aid removal. But he should have done it with a surgical drill.... Hammer and chisel would cause too much trauma to the gums.
@eclareforever1. I had mine done with gas and novicane. You can also do full sleep with an i.v. Once youre high on the gas the novocane shots dont hurt nearly as bad. I had 8 of them, 4 teeth removed. Dont let this vid scare you, normal dentists dont use a freakin hammer and chisel. I was fully awake but didnt feel any pain at all. Just pressure from doc pushing and occasional vibration if they drill
I had four teeth pulled recently, top wisdoms (fully grown-in) and two nasty molars. The wisdoms came out no pro but the other had to go surgically. Luckily I had a great jaw surgeon and it didn't hurt one bit. The first two or three days sucked cause of pain and swelling with are taken care of with vicodin and an NSAID. Also, most dentists will tell you not to smoke for a week, but after 3 days you should be good. (For all you smokers out there)

@78scorpus dentists trained in China or other countries have different techniques than dentists trained in the US. however, very old US dentists are fairly primitive as well.
Im like freaking out over getting mine pulled, yet nobody ever told me how many I have or how many I need removed.... Anybody tell me how it feels? Can you ask for happy gas instead of the needle? :(

" You RATHER be HIGH off Anesthesia then go through all that damn pain"???Saying it in the sense like being HIGH off anesthesia would be a BAD or uncomfortable and painful thing???Being "high off anesthesia, which actually doesn't make ANY sense, because any effect of ANY anesthesia is going to give you a "high" feeling, as is the EXACT intention & purpose of it in the first place!(Plus knocking you out some).So this Makes NO sense!

I believe the dentist was breaking the tooth into smaller pieces to aid removal. But he should have done it with a surgical drill.... Hammer and chisel would cause too much trauma to the gums.

@eclareforever1. I had mine done with gas and novicane. You can also do full sleep with an i.v. Once youre high on the gas the novocane shots dont hurt nearly as bad. I had 8 of them, 4 teeth removed. Dont let this vid scare you, normal dentists dont use a freakin hammer and chisel. I was fully awake but didnt feel any pain at all. Just pressure from doc pushing and occasional vibration if they drill

I had four teeth pulled recently, top wisdoms (fully grown-in) and two nasty molars. The wisdoms came out no pro but the other had to go surgically. Luckily I had a great jaw surgeon and it didn't hurt one bit. The first two or three days sucked cause of pain and swelling with are taken care of with vicodin and an NSAID. Also, most dentists will tell you not to smoke for a week, but after 3 days you should be good. (For all you smokers out there)

@bigmac202503. its needed sometimes to split the tooth. the best to have IV sedation. also, the chisel and hammer isn't always used in wisdom tooth removal.

@78scorpus dentists trained in China or other countries have different techniques than dentists trained in the US. however, very old US dentists are fairly primitive as well.
