  • Thanks alan for getting back to me so quickly. You are absolutely right. What a waaaaaste of money. Maybe they will see this and clean it up. (But the sad thing is they will probabaly tare it down and build condos.)

  • I lived in on base housing with my wife and 3 kids. Is that still there? It was great to see the unknowns. May we all salute them with honor.

  • @rockwellrocky1 The houses are mostly all gone; even the brick ones near the infirmary.

  • I was at vint hill from 1982 to 1985 thanks for posting this. Its absolutely sad to see the place looking like this. I was the supply sergeant . I haven't been back since i left. And after seeing this i dont think i will.

  • @rockwellrocky1 Each time I watch this I get sick over the vandalism decreasing the value of what would be a billion dollar building. The owners were very wasteful in not protecting it. Ohh!

  • I don't think the barracks would pass a Saturday Morning Inspection as they did in 1969.

  • Makes my heart ache to see this video. Thank you so much for posting. I've been wondering about that grave site of unknown soldiers for years - I remember riding my bike past it so many times. Many good memories of living on post.
