  • Im all for a free market. But im not for cronie capitalism. REGULATE WALL STREET

  • Who's going to listen to Boehner? But anyway, what we have to understand is the term deregulation. Deregulation means to Wall Street and Washington is to create regulations that make it harder for the little guy but deregulate for the multi-billion dollar corporations.

I'm for real deregulation where it's a level playing field. Not this corporatist we currently have in North America.

  • What do you expect, the guy looks like he is drunk all the time.

  • send the do nothing at all for the people of this nation moron who wants 2 months off for his republicans after the elections as we suffer with there do nothing garbage back to the fifteenth hole with his sun tan oil.

  • Further evidence of Republican shilling for big business, not matter how stupid it makes them look. Great job! How can you not be embarrassed?

But he's using that tried and true Republican tactic: keep repeating a lie, no matter how stupid, and people will begin to believe it.

  • Oh that Boner!

  • regulation is ok when a republican president wants it, but it's bad, bad, bad, bad, BAD when a democratic president wants it. fuck you, boner. do republicans know what cognitive dissonance is?

  • Boner forgets that he's part of the federal bureaucracy. He's just pissed off because there's a tax on tanning beds.

  • Boehner has a point, but he leaves out the part about how the Bush administration gutted the regulating agencies and filled their ranks with corporate lackeys. Whoops!

  • @getplaning You are the second person to say Boehner has a point. I don't get it. How can one blame a lack of regulation for the disasters on Wall Street and the Gulf, while arguing for MORE deregulation?

  • @BI30 Deregulation of the markets and the changes to the Net Capital Rule are the reasons that the markets crashed. So I am with you on that one, the old rules need to be reinstated and enforced.

As far as safety regulations in miningand drilling operations, the regulations on the books are pretty adequate. But during the Bush administration, they simply put industry friendly people in charge of the regulating agencies, and stopped enforcing the rules.

  • @getplaning I'm not arguing that. Yes, we should "enforce the regulations already on the books", but let's not over look the fact he just called for NOT enforcing them.

  • Is anyone brave enough to fess up to voting for this idiot? Anyone?

  • @TresJolie7 It doesn't take bravery to vote Republican. All you need to vote Republican is hate and Fox News and Hate Radio ensure the flames of hate always remain white-hot. Vote for Boehner? Hell, they'll vote for Bin Laden and for Satan Himself just to stick it to the liberals. These are not Americans - they are Republicans.

  • I hate to admit it, but Captain Orange has a point. Trouble is, he doesn't want Wall Street's regulations enforced, and he is paying lip service to the Gulf oil disaster. Democrats don't have business panicking, Republican lies, distortions and exaggerations about the Democrats have businesses cringing.
