  • Genius.

  • Loved this in High Fidelity (Rent it!)

  • It's a wonderful classical piece of Stevie.

  • This is amazing.. He knows love, no?

  • yo assholes.... ever check out stevie performance for the library of congress? a whole classical piece with dashes of stevie and wonderlove all throughout. its wonderful. its on itunes for free. lovely!

  • DONTCHAWANNA DONTCHAWANNA DONTCHAWANNNNAAAAA FALL-IN-LOVE!!!!!!

  • @diddypopdiddy my fave part of the song :')

  • Classic song...great at the end of the John Cusack movie High Fidelity. It's true that when we FALL in love...it's something that we ALL want to last forever. And it does...it just doesn't last in the way we always want it to. But if you have gratitude in your heart...true honest gratitude devoid of all ego and personal wants...you'll find that it's there....Forever.

  • Come on let's fall in love!

  • awesome!! thanks for this.

  • <3 0:o)

  • Does anyone agree that this song and its style could have easily fit on a Todd Rungren record back then?

  • was watching "High Fidelity" when I came up with this song. trully timeless :)

  • @vasomitsiou Me too =) Amazing movie and song

  • this song didn't need to end. it could have continued on.... forever.

  • @m1kewithaone this was so nice to be the first song to hear today,,,his last name is "wonder" for a reason ;c] you are the man m1ke! now i see 'for once in my life" as one of the suggestion song on the right -----> on my way to listen to that,,,'its been awhile' since i heard that one

  • @m1kewithaone what? you want it to continue to play in your coffin?

  • @footballgeorgiebest well, now that you brought it up, i guess i wouldn't. and maybe i had a temporary loss of sanity when i said that. and if you really want to know, i do not like the ending to this song. not at all.

  • @footballgeorgiebest hey, is your dog winking at me!?? .... cool.

  • This is what real music sounds like.

  • this song gives me the chills and then it warms my heart so everything is alright again...

  • The last 40 seconds is my favorite part of this song!

  • This song is too short.

  • it makes High Fidelity wonderfull too

  • 4 people just dont believe. :(

  • Did he base the title or lyrics off Nat King Cole's "When I give my Heart (it will be forever)" ?

  • Stevie Wonder always provokes me to go into deep thought with his music.

  • I love how towards the end he has so many vocal backgrounds overlapping! Love this song. Amazingly my first time hearing this! Where the heck have I been???!!!!

  • This song is amazing! The funky breakdown at the end is just great n'all...Stevie's just dripping with Talent!

  • Every bit as powerful today as it ever was. His genius is proof that there is a god

  • Also try being a blind black boy/man growing up in 1960's America, Still not even having your full rights in a society that your forefathers help build, knowing that you could be killed on a whim by some racist, like countless others before, but still speaking truth to power through your art.. Stevie wrote anthems about humanity, equality, brotherhood. How many artists- no people have had the courage to do that. He's so much more than just a musician. Mozart was a great architect of sound, true.

  • @olumwandishi you speak the truth - **respect.

  • I had to put my two cents in on this mozart Stevie debate. Stevie was also a child prodigy, he's blind, a multi instrumentalist, producer and one of the greatest vocalist in recorded history. No diisrespect to Mozart, who was a genius, but i get annoyed when people think that classical music is so superior to other types of music. Stevie wrote opera's as well, dig " living just enough for the city," "superwoman/ where," " Lately" etc... It's not easy to condesnse an opera into a pop format.

  • I love this song and Stevie Wonder is a musical icon! Can't believe the first time I remember hearing this was on the end credits for "High Fidelity"! Which is why I rewound the VHS I had multiple times. Beautiful work, Mr Wonder!

  • Thank God for answering prayers and letting people fall in love again.

  • All you cynics, irony-lovers, shallow because you don't know what it is to be deep, here is what Idealism sounds like -

  • One of the reasons High Fidelity is so memorable is that this plays as the credits roll.

  • how could you not love stevie... every song he makes just makes me love him more.!

  • REPETITIVE. EVEN THE REPETITIONS ARE REPEATED

Buy his albums; he needs your money

  • This is that lets make a baby music

  • This song needs 2:16 to get a good song. But from then on it's the best song in the worlds

  • The harmonies on the choruses are why God invented the 70's.

  • Stunningly beautiful song, stunningly beautiful man. Stevie Wonder your quite simply amazing.XXXXX

  • Would have loved this one at Hyde Park on Saturday, but then if he'd played every one I wanted to hear he'd have been on stage all night. What a bloody fantastic night!

  • Where is everyone?? Only 35,000 views!? I think half of them were me too! Powerful song to say the least.

  • I'm touched by the title of the song alone.

  • mp3iffy is the best site to get this mp3. google mp3iffy.

  • this is the song from the end credits of High Fidelity and also there is a version of this song covered by Michael Mcdonald in 2003 . But Stevie is Timeless and I always loved this song.

  • this song starts off slow with such a build up,that literally takes my breathe away. stevie wonder's music is timeless;the freshness and the message is enternal. what amazing lyrics. stevie wonder has written so many beautiful and lasting songs,i don't think that he can be matched,i mean his the mozart of his time. what a gift God as given him.

  • @MrNathan791 Wow! You QUITE OBVIOUSLY have absoluely no idea of what Mozart wrote. Live on in ignorance. You like this stuff and that's OK but don't demean the name of Mozart, please.PLEASE!!!!

    Stay well

  • @ifuliki your comments come off as someone whose drinking his own piss and think his comments really matters. name one song that mozart wrote with lyrics. punk, you can't can you. your uppity attitude stinks. just because you like mozart does'nt mean that you have class. and you're the ignorant one for not reconizing the genius in stevie wonder's lyrics. i like classical music too,but to have you think that mozart was all of that is stupid.so don't come off on me with your stuck up self. jerk.

  • @MrNathan791 I was about to write an angry at comment at you for implying that Mozart never wrote lyrics, but then I realized what an dick ifuliki is being. To ifuliki: 1) Funk music is different from Western art music in that it is centered around a groove, which is designed to be repeated. If it were up to me, this song would never end. 2) Stevie wonder has plenty of money. He had the largest-paying contract of his time, which cemented him as the first real superstar. 3) Beauty is subjective.

  • @MrNathan791 I didn't say I did not like or appreciate Stevie Wonder but I did take exception to you dragging in the name of Mozart and comparing your hero to him. I wont retract what I said. Mozart died young but he left an immense body of work and starting composing when he was a tiny little boy. You use obscenites so I take it that anybody who does not instantly agree with you arouses your anger. You should think about that and ehy that is It isn't healthy. Don't bother to reply.

    Aled

  • @MrNathan791 you obviously have NO idea what you are talking about and are completely uneducated in music. Mozart happened to write countless operas and guess what they have lyrics!!! oh he also wrote songs for example Das Veilchen and Als Luise die Briefe were songs for voice and piano. Check your info before you start talking like you know it all. i'm saying nothing about stevie wonder, though. He happens to be one of the greatest artist of all time.

  • One of the most beautiful love songs written. Thank you for being the best musician possible, Mister Wonder!!

  • damn i miss this song

  • stevie's songwriting gift is so very deep, no one comes close. stevie is the mozart of the 20th cent. this is a beautiful human being. love this song.

  • this song still gives me chills after 37 years. so, so beautiful.

  • my first and fav record. He is even better in concert.

  • This is one of his best. If the chorus had wings,it would fly.

What a magnificent composer he is.There's only one Stevie!

  • for 30 years this chorus has resided somewhere in my memory, popping up from time to time. i forgot where it came from. thank God for genius songwriters and black presidents!

  • lets wait and see how BO does as president before we start thanking God.

  • What`s the problem with a black president shouldn`t be the best man or woman for the job. remember "W"
