DES MOINES. We are receiving inquiries about a financial recruitment program purportedly based on a "private gifting" concept. The operation invites people to join by making a "gift" of $5000 and then recruiting others to make similar "gifts" and recruit still more participants. The pay-out to early participants after a few rounds of recruitment is supposed to be as much as $40,000. The Attorney General's Office believes such schemes are illegal pyramids.
Thu Feb 05, 2009, 05:30 PM EST The county sheriff is warning the public to be cautious about cash-gifting schemes occurring in the area.
Cash-gifting circles, clubs or groups bait people to pay out funds in hopes of receiving a higher return as a result of recruiting others. Its definitely fraud, he said about the cash-gifting schemes.
I challenge ANYONE to produce just 1 piece of DOCUMENTABLE PROOF that cash gifting is ILLEGAL. Have you ever seen anything on the news reporting this? No!
Have you ever seen one video showing a court proceeding over cash gifting? No!
Have established homebased magazines like Entrepeneur or Small Business Opportunities turned down ANY cash gifting ads for OVER 6yrs. now? No! Don't you think that the FTC would FIRST contact them and order them to stop advertising! Stop LYING!
Here is a challenge for you. Go over to your local police station, tell them about your "business" and provide them with the names of everyone in your cash gifting group including all the members names and addresses that you recruited, or even better provide all this information to the your AG office, FTC and SEC and see what happens to you. If it is not a illegal activity you will be just fine. My guess is that you will not be fine. Scams advertized on Google daily does not make it legal.
Your simply misinformed. Cash gifting is not a business first of all. I use my real name and real telephone number and hide from NO one! Does this slightly look like a person who is concerned that he is doing anything illegal? Do you see the picture of my two sons? Do you think I would risk one minute of not being with them? And, this is the real kicker! I do have POLICE who have participated in my cash gifting activity! Obviously you Can Not produce proof or else you would!
There is a saying " Don't argue with fools and idiots because they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience" I am not going waste my time arguing with you when the law is very clear on this.
