Hardstyle with happy melodies does not sells better,but it attracts more partypeople and if you attract more people the music is more known and populair,and that means more money,but only the big labels like scantraxx and fusion are going for the money,if you look like the more unknown labels like Tilltrecords,those small labels are the only one where you can find real hardstyle,those labels aren't going global but keep the true hardstyle fans happy.

it should be - 65 % Raw hardstyle and 35% melodic/happy.

Because i am more a trance / hardstyle fan, and when it's combined my day is saved. i love these happy melodies but i do also like dark raw hardstyle for sure :)

@HardStyleSupremacy Indeed project one was great but i dont think anything need to be changed hardstyle is still under huge changes sometimes there are bad choices in style(hhz - let the base kick) but sometimes the outcome is epic(jdx - live the moment). Also just think about it how much better it would be if instead of crappy prog house you would hear hardstyle in every club and thats the goal with these melodys :)

@monkeyattackII Tillt records was very well known even from the day that it was created...cause people saw Max Enforcer,very well known it the scene so they were attracted...but yeah there are other more unknown labels that are very good with hardstyle music from the heart.

Perhaps, most true hardstylers are mostly conflicted by the fact that melodies changes and got expanded more. the human brain was made to evolve,in thoughts and creativity. i see many people bashing the songs that are released today, which is sad.
