It's wierd...Motorola sold a lot different version of this headset!
In mine I've got a protection case and you don't, and there's others with bluetooth USB connector and others with iPod connector, but when it's bought from a website you usually have no idea of what's in the box!!

the mic from the s9 is built into the left ear speaker and it actually draws your voice through your ear canal when you wear it, that's why it is able to block out external noises and deliver crystal clear voice when you talk.
I just ordered a pair from ebay....did you get yours from ebay? if you did are they good?
