  • LOVE HIS STYLE. IT's got that "GO FOR THE KILL" vibe.........take no prisoners approach........Damn good to listen to solo !!!

  • Masomenos... jejejeje

  • This guy doesnt even have a page on Wikipedia!

Even though he really deserves it! -.-

  • 10 people dont know wtf are drums

  • He might be completely awesome, but I'm having problems getting by the fact that he looks like he's been canned from Good Charlotte.

  • 9 people are f***ing stupid...

  • hes pretty good

  • @zkkrlz Those could be thrash metal grooves as well, or power metal, it would probably depend on the context.

  • this bastard is a fucking machine !!!!!

  • dave grohl is garbage

  • My favourite Vai drummer, maybe lacks the finess of mangini but has so much power and groove, reminds me of cozy powel feel wise (obviously hes technically much better ...)

  • that's awesome :-D

  • 2:05 Territory - Sepultura

  • so funny how he puts punk drumming in there

  • @okamasphere Uhm, there's no punk drumming here :P

  • brazilainz< rhythm amazing

  • Refuse resist cover! :D it's awsome!

  • Nice kit...

  • HOLY MOTHERBANANACOWJESUSCHRISTSUPERSTAROHMYGODHOLYBANANASANDFORGODSSAKE SHIT!!!!

  • No offense to Jeremy or anyone, but I personally think that Virgil Donati was the better drummer for Vai. I think his playing style fit better with Vai's technicality.

  • @rozeem6 Despite of my big simpathy to Virgil.. He made it all too serious. Jeremy brings lightness and joy into Vai's music and perfomanses. And that's what about Steve himself. They are simply made for each other.

  • for a standard double bass esque type drum solo, this is pretty sweeeet!!!

  • Is this the same douche that sang with Marty Friedman on Future Addict? :O

  • @ShinOnigashima Yeah he shouldn't sing..

  • Now that's some decent rockin' in your swimming trunks! =D

  • maybe this guy would be next to sit on dream theater drums

  • @EmperorGabriel He's really good, but I don't think he's THAT great.

  • @DCGats

The reason he is so good is because he isn't that technically brilliant !!!! he is raw !!! and rockin

  • @STIXAHOY agreed ! ! hes not a technician, but his stroke is incredibly hard !

  • @TBSMr try if u can...good on ya

  • hi guys...anybody knows anything about him???DOB place where he was born and other infos???cuz on the net i cannot find anything about him....thanx

  • @fsrodeo81

    Google is your friend

  • I see a lot of copied styles here, nothing really original :(

  • he is raw and rockn

  • He has the high hat really... high :p (no pun intended)

  • Comment removed

  • i just saw him with billy idol this weekend and thought he was incredible.

  • I don't remember this scene in spinal tap

  • if he played with more delicacy he would be so awesome

  • Is it me or is Jeremy Colson a bit outta place in Vai's band lol everyone in the band is very fine dressed and they have no tattos (At least no visible ones) but damn hes such a great musiscian

  • Why is everybody talkin about Neil Peart?

    Neil is a legend - unsturbed - !!

This guy is ok, but wonder what he delivers that Virgil D and Mike M don´t?

  • He's with Marty Friedman right

Sadly he has taken up singing despite sounding gayer than that vocalist from Linkin park.

    =(

  • incredible!

  • me, my brother and my dad met jeremy colson, dave wiener, tony macalpine and dave wieners girlfriend before a G3 concert in a pub not far from the albert hall, aparently steve vai was feeling poorly and went to the doctors, (wot a shame) but was sureal meeting his band!

  • Jeremy seems very good, but I wonder why Steve Vai would go with this guy after having toured with the likes of Mike Manginni and Virgil Donati?

Maybe Steve wanted a more straight forward kind of player...?

    Hmmm......

  • @Drumzrool no, Vai is just cheap...

  • really hi hihat

  • at 3.50 he plays a really simple groove. its amazing to see a drummer thats not afraid to play an easy beat if thats what the situation calls for

  • 3:05 "Under a glass moon" by Dream Theater....by the legendary Mike Portnoy!!!

  • i played a drum duet with jeremy when i was in 3rd grade. we both had the same drum teacher.

  • omfg wtf

and they say neil perch is the best drummer ever

    this guys amazing!

  • Neil Peart isn't over-rated, jeremy is just completely under-rated. they're both very amazing prog drummers, it just all depends on an individual's preference by how they play.

  • @sluggar22 Neil Peart aint got shit on this guy!

  • @sluggar22 Neil Peart is the best, just like Hendrix is known as the best on guitar. Neil Peart is like portnoy...this guy plays amazing things (he plays with vai, he has to), damn fast, but like aaronalwines said, it's just a simple groove. A drum solo it's like a guitar solo or any other. Just one can't tell you anything...

  • @CostaStrat Yea but hendrix isn't best on guitar.....

  • @sluggar22 I saw him play with Billy Idol last night...my jaw dropped, it was amazing!

  • Awesome! why/what was he yelling?

  • MUCHO ARROZ PARA TAN POCO POLLO

  • 1:38 -> Refuse/Resist - Sepultura

  • he does remind me of travis baker :D ahaha

  • i told you man!

    hahha

  • @evanlad666 2.08 territory - Sepultura XD

  • @9metaller2 Whoa, I never noticed that... thanks!

  • @evanlad666 Yeah totally, lol. I knew that sounded familiar, i think i also heard the intro for War for Territory at 2:07 too!

  • Awsome!!! but i'd love to see him battle Greg Bissonette in a battle of Steve Vai's best drummer!!!!!

  • 1:39

  • 3:36 - END ->the best part

  • Sickk
