I truly love her energy, especially her jumps, and the flow of her pirouettes! Unfortunately she doesn't seem to be very turned out. Her feet need work, too, but who cares, she is gonna be an ACTUAL DANCER :)

i remember that is a variation from paquita,but i don't if it was extract from an other one opera...

this variation is taken from the additional music Drigo wrote for "La Source" in 1902. But you are right, some stagings do put in "Paquita", but I have never seen it in "Corsaire".

Ive seen choreography similar to this though slightly different as being an excerpt from paquita.

also on a ballet cd I have this is listed as an "alternate medora variation"

I know that there are a few alternate variations that are from other ballets that were suplemented into corsaire.

Im assuming thats what this is.
