Right now working on my BA project, I sit writing while listening to the FFVIII soundtrack.....and every song sparks memory of and emotions from the passages they accompany in the game. It's a bit hard to concentrate :). FF has been a colossal part of my life since I played FFVII for the first time in 97, and it continues to be so. It's been too long since I played FFVIII, I long to play it but have to finish my project first:). So.... Long live FF indeed!!

@okamarama It's said in the KH games. In KH universe or w/e, the FF characters seem to have the same home World, and it was lost pre-KH1. Squall started going by the name Leon as a sort of attempt to cut himself off from "the weakling who could only stand by and watch his world be destroyed." Or something along those lines. That, and his last name being Leonhart, as sonofjenova said.
