  • This lady is extremely educated on body health and nutrition. Lots of the advice she is giving I'm hearing for the first time. I thought that taking a Health Science class and reading its textbook was all there was to it, but I was wrong.

  • I really recommend having simple veggie smoothies. some great examples are spinach and apple, or Kale, celery, and pear. I'm new to being raw and I often feel some bloating pains in the afternoon if I am not getting enough fiber to push seeds and and "gunk" through. First thing in the morning, drink a quart of water and an hour later drink one of these smoothies. I feel much much better when I do this.

  • It took you four minutes to finally get to the point of your conversation topic.

  • Natasha: I so want to give you a decent hairstyle. It is what I do.

  • @jdh91741 SHE KNOWS WHATS IMPORTANT IN LIFE. SIMPLE AS THAT

  • @thallious9876 Thanks. I'm not sure what your answer means

  • Guys I'm 15 year old (I'm not fat) and I went to china then my stomach hurted and I had very painful diarrhea. When I came back to Canada I noticed that everytime I eat my stomach is so bloated regardless of the size! I dont know what to do, I drink plenty of water everyday

  • @itsMastaN I would recommend having some bland foods full of fiber. Process them up in a blender if you need to make them more gentle on your digestion. Do this for a few days at least( to give the fiber a chance to sweep your intestines) and then consider visiting a colon therapist who can give you a good colonic.

  • @goatwrangler87 Ok thanks this have been going for months, so Ive tried a relief pill calls Gas X, and i eat alot of fruits and drink lots of water... still no help

  • Very nice, I posted this to my blog as an embedded video.

  • Thank u :)

  • Hello! Have you ever thought of DietOramy diet plans (more info on google)? I have got word large amounts of delightful facts relating to it and my mother burned a bunch of extra fat from it.

  • Thank you so much.

  • hi, i have been to four different MD doctors here in London explaining actually my condition which you described video i.e blotting, heavy belly after meals n fruits n vegetable salads n gas n constipation BUT non of the four doctors could even understand my condition and finally i was referred to a specialist who after first meeting ordered a Gastrology test which was the most painful test but my problem never got better now i will try actually what you advice and update you in few days, thanks

  • i feel like i have to puke/let out the biggest turd of my life

  • I already follow all tips in this video plus I've done a 5-day juice fast and like 10 colonic irrigation in the past 3 months so I have at least detoxed a decent amount. Could the reason for gas be candida issues? I still have gas but I am going to try cutting out all sugars and maybe go 50/50 raw and cooked to see if fruit was the problem.

  • @HrapovikPlush Humans do not have the enzymes to break down plant cell walls. All of that fiber is hard on the digestive system, and therefore causes bloating and gas. Humans are not meant to eat this way. I tried and it almost killed me! I had Candida and tried to heal it with a raw food diet - it had the opposite effect. If you have Candida, you need to go on a Candida diet - which is meat and saturated fats. It has saved my life! Check out healingnaturallybybee(dot)com

  • @HrapovikPlush How did that work for you? I seem to be in the same situation.

  • Hi! Have you ever tried intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cooworker lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • Hi! Have you ever tried intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cooworker lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • Hi have you studied the Acuspeed 24 Diet (do a google search)? I heard some great chatter about it and my friend got rid of tons of weight on it.

  • Ive been High Fiber vegan for months, and I'm starting a raw food cleanse tomorrow. will I bloat? plzz answer soon!!!

  • you're like the angel of mercy. thanks for putting me at ease.

  • Bloat is intestinal damage. Bloat typically extends from a candida overgrowth. If you're feeding your body too much sugars through fruits on a raw foods diet, you will continue to feed the candida overgrowth. With candida overgrowth typically your digestive enzymes are destroyed. She's talking about removing the inside of your intestinal tract but the key is killing the candida overgrowth. DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR!!!!

  • @AspireForHealth could you please help me my stomach has been bloated for the past week, im gaining so much weight because of my constipation doctors give my medicine which dont work, is there any way you can suggest me to something ? thank you

  • Im a vegetarian since birth. This is good info...

  • im 18 and im haveing problems ...but ive never had a good diet but i do work out every other day so i guess i have to start eating very healthy......eff my life...

  • Where do spices come into play with 3 ingredient meals? For instance, if I have gluten-free pasta with spinach and olive oil, can I add oregano and pepper or would that be too much?

  • I love veggies but, they make me shit like crazy.

  • @GirlFeetSniffer4U good, that means you are much less toxic then someone who doesn't' shit enough..

  • These are the proportions recommended in tcm (both cooked and raw)

    40-60% vegetables and fruits

    20-40 grains

10-20 Beans, Dairy, meat and nuts.

  • in "plain" english: Everything in nature can be split info yin and yang (nothing is constant tho) The body is both yin and yang and needs bouth Yin and yang foods to be in balance. But with eating only cold/yin foods every day for years, this can lead to unbalanse and damage the yang of the body. BUT. If you f.eks have a HOT condition and live in hot country, this will actually benefit you. So you see, there is not like everything that is good for one person is good for the next.

  • continuing: ".. cold and damp ones. To know our tolerance of raw food, we need to know our constitution. A measure in raw food in diet maintains our supply of beneficial enzymes but the long-term use of raw food diets may damage the Digestive Fire." (yang)

  • I am a chinese medicine student (and ex-vegetarian) and i want to write what my book says on raw vs cooked.

"The art of using raw food is knowing when to stop. Raw food is cold and reducing. therefore people who are Hot and Excess will benefit more from its use. Those with weak spleens (typical bloting problems) or deficient and cold people will tend to be further weakened byits use. Our tolerance of raw food will also depend on where we live, hot, and dry climates preferable to cold and damp

  • @Butown. She's saying that drinking water while eating on ANY diet is a bad idea, and not ideal. At least 30 mins before or after is better.

  • Candida. I think its quite possible that many of the people who experience bloating issues with raw foods have latent candida issues. I have done raw food diets successfully in the past with no bloating issues at all... But now I have candida issues and I can't seem to eat hardly any fruit without getting a massive stomach... Sucks big time. Been battling it 4 months so far.

  • wait so i cant drink water while I eat? hmmmm i don't know if it's worth it

  • thank you very much, I almost give up raw food diet because of bloating and stomach ache.

  • @bblond1977 She does babble, but is not an idiot.

  • i've found myself over the course of a few years leaning towars nut butters and oils... for some reason i feel, that it's less sugary, perhaps some how they extract the sugar out... eureka, i think that's the ticket, lol. i feel sugar should be the scapegoat for everything, lol. just blame it on the sugar.

  • that is not true anymore that was the way they taught things in the 1980's now you can drink water with your meals

  • Thanks for posting this, I'm so bloated I look pregnant!!! Your vids are great and you're a shweetheart!!

  • A little long winded sometimes, but loving it all! ;))

  • In years of autopsies have yet to see the build-up in intestines that you mention ... don't be a fear mongerer!

  • Comment removed

  • i have bloating and im 12 help me some1

  • @TiffanyA1025 get raped

  • Just found this channel today. It has been sooo helpful, particularly this episode! You are wonderful, thank you x a million.

  • is it true that it is very unhealthy to eat raw unorganic vegetables and fuits because of the pestizides? but i cant afford organic vegetables. is it more healthy to eat cooked unorganic veggies than raw ones?

  • @TheCrescendo80

eating unorganic is a baaad idea indeed because of all the pesticides! A suggestion is that you can grow a little plot of fruits/veggies - just a little, if you're a busy person, and the easy to grow kind - and you can have a nice supply of veggies! Its much cheaper than buying at a grocery store!

  • @UberHyperSugarFiend well if you can't afford organic, I think eating fruits and vegs that are not organic is def. better than not eating them, for now

  • @itsnotalwaysyou - There is the argument that organic foods are more nutritious and more wholesome than inorganic which means you have to eat more inorganic to get achieve the same nutritional intake as organic. Making the cost diff a wash. There are no studies on this so it could be b.s. but intuitively makes sense.

  • i think she is beautiful............

  • I have candida and very bad bloat. It is especially difficult during this time of transition to a raw food diet. Do you have any suggestions? ( I can't have fruits)

  • @ccavancookie fruit would be better than refined carbohydrates, one thing that helpes is do not pee first thing when you wake up, let the water fill the bladder and move into the intistines, this will loosen extra undigested matter. best of luck

  • gallya you are so critical, even to the point of imagining a lazy eye when it isn't there! Thanks for posting video, and hope you can ignore comments like gallya's.

  • GREAT VIDEO!

  • Great advise, you make a lot of sense.

  • I think she looks great.healty and beautiful.

  • This was really really helpful to find out. I've been on the raw food journey since January, and bloating, gas etc., is a huge problem for me.

  • yes i agree fully this is my 4th week on the raw kick and i find many of the recipes all contain nuts whoooo too much thats right more raw raw raw original super fresh and h2o

  • Took me a few minutes to turn off my brains recording of "oh great another health nut ". Yet once I did I like that you said not to do everything at once. You also explained why you bloat in a down to earth manner without a pitch try to clean up your gut. I dont buy the food left behind for years deal however. We would all be dead in months from bacteria.

  • I started just eating grapes and cashews for breakfast. My mother thought I was crazy and think im starving myself, but I love to have a light breakfast. I subscribed. I want to learn more about being heathy because my now I listen to my body and it YELLS at me sometimes when I eat the wrong foods lol

  • Thank you so much, Natasha! Your advice is real helpful to me, and encouraging!

  • great video! thank you for the information and smiles :)

  • if you have bloat in the period after going raw most likely your gut flora that digests fiber is too scarce after your previous low fiber, processed food diet. it will take time for the bacteria to grow to cope with it. try probiotics to speed up the process.

you need a good combination of soluble and insoluble fiber and build it up over time.

magnesium citrate will hydrate the stool and help keep things moving if needed.

  • Just what I needed to hear, gives me strength to carry on with more raw vegetables and fruit. Thanks

  • Great tips as usual,

    thanks for sharing!

  • why does you camera move around? I am just tuning into this... just curious. Is it hanging?

  • I have found that my dehydrated cracker breads really block me up. I think I eat way to much particularly right after they are done and do not drink enough water in general. Also, I have been doing some digestive enzymes as well. Thanks Natasha!

  • I've been having this exact same problem and I've been about 80%-90% raw for the past 23 days, and I just realized that I haven't been drinking enough water throughout the day, so hopefully that's the answer. Thank you for all of your videos!!!

  • great video! very helpful for starting a raw diet! What do you recommend to drink with a meal? or is it best to drink nothing at all?

  • noomen, I'm not raw but have changed to a healthy diet in the past 6 months. I would have had the same question as you but found out by experience what happens... you no longer NEED liquid with meals. It could be a combination of proper hydration at other times in the day and that the water is coming from the food itself. It's amazing, but true. Tonight I had a very unraw garden veggie burger with spinach in ezekiel pocket bread and steamed califlower... no drink until a glass of water later

  • thank you for this explanation! it makes sense. i am researching raw becasue i am planning to start after this semester ends. right now i am eating more good, and taking out lots of bad. your comment is very helpful, i will start to drink more during the day, thanks again :)

  • Good luck on your journey! It's funny how unconscious it was to stop drinking at meals, due to this conversation I realize it more the past couple of days. So, if I can say, remember not to overthink things, just add the healthy and the unhealthy falls by the wayside. My diet used to be 100% diet pepsi (no water), pizza, fast food, candy

One thing that helped me early on was drinking 2 glasses of water upon waking up. Flush/hydrate the system, reduce cravings, prep for the healthy meals

  • thank you for the encouragement! I will keep the water in the morning in mind. thank you :)

  • Thanks so much :)

  • Thanks for the info!

  • Is regular waterfasting good against the clogged colon and such?

  • My first 3-4 weeks on this diet i was soooo bloated and passing gas every 2 minutes! Now its the oppisite i'm never bloated and rarley pass gass. I also pay close attention to food combining!

  • @Bparkeraw Do you have any tips on what to combine and what not? Thanks..
