Yes man. I went down a tooth on the front sprocket for more pulling power and it is rejetted. 5th gear wheelies all day.

re time the valves and its not very expensive but it sucks its with all high power 4 stroke small engines so all the 250s and 450s

The 2007 modell is much lighter then the 2008.

man the 2008 as a litle more power, but the 07 is a litle lighter, sou a think at the end it is the same thing, the only diference is the Steering Control....

The 2007 is not lighter, its just the weight for the 07 is listed as the 'dry weight': gas tank empty, shock oil drained out etc. every single fluid in the bike drained out. The 2008 has the Curb/wet weight listed: gas full, oil in shocks/forks, stuff like that.

i dont see how you were doing a wheelie at 85mph. i am not doubting it but it just seems hard to believe considering the crf250r would barely do 80. my friend has an 07 and he had it pinned and it did 78.6 on the radar (those are true radar #'s) and he weighs 160. not trying to be an ass its just hard to believe.

FYI: back around 1990/1991, DIRT BIKE magazine did a speed shootout with all of the then 500cc bikes (CR, KX, YZ490 and i believe one non-jap bike), all of which (except the YZ) had 5-speed transmissions with an overdrive (i believe) and NOT ONE of them even reached 80mph. these bikes, if stock, just don't go that fast, people. they go 65-80mph tops, stock. qualify the speeds and post them if you contend differently.
