Re: Necklace: I heard Swamiji say himself that a devotee who is a jeweller made the necklace for Him. That devotee did it out of his love for Swamiji and nothing else. Swamiji wears it at times simply because He enjoys it. That is all.

Enlightened person are beyond material pleasure, for us it may be gold, but for him its just anyother metal gifted by devotee with lots of affection and that's the reason he is wearing it and that also very rarely.

Actually I was busy jugging his position in instructing and lecturing about spirituality to the public - he draws strength and authority by using a sacred position in the vedic system as a enlightened saniyasi- does he talk the talk and walk the walk ? Actually, he explains on one video that you already saw (because you left the same exact comment) someone gave it to him as a gift and he thought it was nice. He doesn't wear it everywhere he goes, only when giving discourse. He actually lives a very simple life. Do the research.

Please brother, this is not an advice.. let us leave others to judge..have thier opinion..but that does not change truth. We should follow the great teachings and follow the path of non-violence in words and deed.
