John "Porky Pig" Murtha needs to be ousted this election year, not just because of his wild earmark spending, but also for calling Marines cold blooded killers and refusing to apologize when proven wrong.
There is no doubt he needs to be ousted for the comments about the marines alone. Yet his constituents see someone who keeps bringing home the federal dollars to his community regardless of his foul mouth. That is going to be difficult to overcome. They should build a memorial in washington for all of its infamous members who as far as I can see largely outnumber the famous. Perhaps a giant statue of Alfred E. Newman, Congressman.
