ah les critiques sans parler des agents de presse rattachés eux même à, etc......... Massis est étourdissante et sans rivale dans le chant français, quoiqu'en disent certains critiques. Le public l'aime et c'est le principal.

Les représentatios à Pesaro étaient absolument formidables avec un Florez au sommet et Massis dans une forme éblouissante, tous deux acclamés sans fin. Bien sûr certains critiques français ont fait la fine bouche devant le chant sans reproche, énivrant, de Massis. la France n'aime pas ses artistes ou elle les aime mal.

Pour la France et Massis, vous avez tout dit... Cela n'est pas neuf... La France s'est même offert le ridicule de huer La Crespin qui triomphait au Met ou à Bayreuth. La très belle Sylvie Valayre à la carrière immense à l'étranger est également incompréhensiblement ignorée chez elle. Massis elle, chante ses premiers plans partout : Metropolitan, Scala, Vienne, Berlin, Liceu, Real, Glyndebourne, Pesaro, Vérone, Caracalla et c'est très bien ainsi.

Massis is one of my favourite sopranos of today. Her style is always so appropriate, she never does anything just to show off, and she is so good at knowing her strengths and limitations. An ideal soprano for bel canto, Rossini in particular. Wonderful technique, beautiful timbre, lovely high notes and good breath support! Lovely!
