Prey is prey. If a tiger can grab one of those long sitting duck pieces of meat by the neck, it's gone. Cat food. Croc will only have the advantage on deep water. On land they are easy prey because their movements are nothing compared to tiger's agility and stealth. By the time the croc detects the tiger it is already on its back, and crocs can't even bend or roll good enough to defend themselves. Same goes for baby and young elephants.

On the discovery channel the original video was explaining that the tigers claws and teeth can not penetrate the top of the croc. its only chance is to flip the croc over. This person merged two videos together. I've seen plenty tigers win battles against crocodiles. They are faster and strong. True crocs have a hefty defense and a lot of power, but once your on it's back it's game over for it. And that's just what the tiger in the vid did. If you watch crocodile hunter, the crocs weak spot is it's back.

@gembalaartoni. a lion would have the same chance if they knew how to kill a croc.. tigers meets with lonly crocs often.. while in africa 100 of croc are alweys together in the same river, tigers and lions live in diffrent places and in diffrent situations.

polar bear doesnt stand much of a chance against a big siberian tiger .. too slow .. the claws of a siberian tiger rips a polar bear open in no time .. and if the tiger catces the neck or throat of a polar bear its game over .. even a croc has more chance against a siberian tiger ..

@StillEnrico Yea, it's pretty rare for them to just kill bears. I have read wildlife statistics between encounters of Amur Siberian Tigers, and Brown Bears. The confrontations are always 50/50, I believe it was a Nat Geo mag. Anyways, people always act like, they know what would happen, no you don't. Both animals are apex predators, you must have a hard on for tigers or something. Bears are brawlers, they can break spinal cords with there paws,and they can run at 30 mph. Get some facts bro.

Rhino and Hippo. Search how big they are or just search them on Youtube. Rhinos and Hippos are insane. That tiger struggled with that croc and hippos have been known to bite crocs in half.

I've seen plenty tigers win battles against crocodiles. They are faster and strong. True crocs have a hefty defense and a lot of power, but once your on it's back it's game over for it. And that's just what the tiger in the vid did. If you watch crocodile hunter, the crocs weak spot is it's back.

@shakeri84 - i saw that a long time ago. Still such an amazing video. I'm surprised the elephant did not do anything and that the tiger attacked the rider. It said she had her cubs with her. Otherwise she would have just left the area. I've seen where people in India where masks on the back of their head because the tiger will not attack head on but only from behind. Every country should have large tracks of land for wildlife preserves. cool vid thanks

@shakeri84 - Rhino is virtually blind and is like a tank with no bullets vs a foot soldier. Foot soldier wins every time. A bull elephant will kill a rhino very easily and is documented on national geographics

@shakeri84 - Rhino's and elephants don't have claws or canine teeth. A Grizzly has a chance at victory whereas the rhino and elephant can only escape. If grizzly and tiger did meet they would never fight. Tiger would just walk away, not from fear but it's instinct to not take any damage. It specializes in ambush attack.
