Hey is this a toner? I've bleach my hair and it doesn't come out blonde because I've colored in jet black. I've seen other youtubers use this as a toner
Up until recently I was one of those people who picked up 2 or 3 boxes of hair color at the Drugstore/Supermarket and would spend at least 20 bucks each time I wanted to color. I am not one of those people anymore. I spent less than 15 dollars on the color and some gloves. My friend had some developer at home. My hair came out awesome. What areas did stain came out easily with some stain remover wipes and no color came off when I straightened it a few hours afterwards.
@punkrockgoth1988 Upon checking out the website for the shop I got the color at, I think I will check out the rest of the stuff Ion has available to consumers. Sure, it takes a bit of math to figure out how much developer you need, but it is pretty simple stuff that anyone should be able to do. With this stuff available and so simple to use, I am disturbed that box color is still sold.
is the ION supposed to be a "Toner"? to cut down the brassyness? I'm not sure what its exactly for. what's the point in bleaching if this is hair dye? someone please write me if you know more about this. Thank you --

i had my hair bleached & toned at a salon about six months ago so it's been a good while.
I naturally have light brown hair, so now my roots are showing up. TOday i decided to go to my sallys beauty supply store, and the lady suggested i get 40VOL. i was dissapointed because i felt that 40 would be too harsh on my hair and get too white so i purchased the 30 Developer. She then told me to get this product, the "ION COLOR BRILLIANCE" to put on after the bleaching. .

your liquid formula wouldn't work on my hair. I tried twice.
Is your creme formula stronger?

is this safe to use to try to cover up red metallic dyes?

I love this haircolor! I use it all the time and get amazing results. I use the reds a lot

for the creme formula, after it's open, can we keep it to use for another time? since it has a screw on cap and all.

Yes a resealed opened tube can be closed tightly and used within 3 months.
A resealed liquid- 3 weeks.
