it is adjustable, loosen the large screw on the back of the holster where the paddle slides into your waist band, I adjusted the Kant on mine to tilt a little forward.
@richcastle AH! XD is a very good 9mil, i have shot the full size and i have to say i was impressed with the trigger and the accuracy! infact i shot the 9 and the 45 and both worked great! but im a ruger guy so of course i had to go with the sr9 haha but anyways you cannot go wrong with either gun (OR A GLOCK!!), but enjoy whatever you buy bro!
Ha! i as well carry an SR9 with a Serpa blackhawk holster, i actually have that same foebus holster, i personally had trouble with the holster extracting with the pistol! so i upgraded to a serpa and i love it! well good luck!
@oakesiswasted Thanks for the comment and yes I did! If you check out my latest EDC vid I show you my new CC holster and what it looks like when in carry!
Very nice! Had mine in my early 20's. 35 now and drive a silverado. If ya don't drive a truck here in Texas, ya get looked at funny! Lol! I'm waiting for my mid-life crisis!! Lol!
I love Corvettes. Don't have one, but I used to have a '78. I would love to visit that museum!! They would have to kick me out! Haha! Are you a Vette fan?
I edc a full size SR9 too. I love it. It has completely replaced my Glock 35 and my Glock 19 as my EDC pistols. I may get the compact SR9c as a back up to my fullsize pistol, but I haven't made up my mind.
I've found that the Galco Yaqui Slide works well with my SR9 as a light concealment holster. If I need to carry IWB I use one of my older Glock 17/22/31 holsters. I need one made especially for the Ruger.
Thank you very much and I completely agree! Yes, I have trained but by no means am I an expert. But I will continue to train and practice as long as I possibly can!
My carry gun is an SR9. Same holster, too. That is one great gun for the price ( got mine at a show for just under $400). I've put about 2,000 rds through it without a single malfunction.
this is my first gun and I have my concealed permit and use a crossbread supertuck. I wouldn't recommend anything other than that. I use gold dot 115 gr jhp when i carry. great vids man
oh yeah, this is my first pistol too. found it was one of the safer pistols on the market for a new hand gunner like me. great for home defense along with my ak.
i both open and conceal carry my sr9. been packing the ruger for 8 months and have nothing negative to say about it. if you plan on CC i recomend using the BLACKHAWKsize 5 in the pants holster made for the sr9. i find its more comfortable than open carry. at 26$ another bang for your buck. or you get the crossbreed holster for 80$. havent tried it but heard good things.
thank you so much for the comment/info. Nice to get another perspective from a fellow SR9 owner. As far as holsters, I think I am pretty much sold on the Crossbreed Supertuck. Never heard anyone speak badly about it, and the design looks logical and comfortable--and yes, I do plan on carrying concealed.
before you buy the crossbreed just check out blackhawk. you dont get the sweaty leather butt like ive heard about. very easy to put on and take off with one hand. you might want to buy pants a size larger. my fat clothes fit now. if you go with the CB let me know the pros and cons.
Thanks for info and I'll check it out. However I wear Under Armour underneath virtually everything so I'm not worried about sweat from a crossbreed. I'll do an update after I have a chance to check everything out.
No I have not as I do not yet have a CCP to carry it concealed. I have tried putting it in there, however and the SR9 is a tiny bit too big to fit in there comfortably. I think it's designed for a more compact pistol.
Indeed. I had hoped it would be a lil bigger. But there are a couple of subcompact guns I'm looking at that would fit in that pouch quite nicely :) New vids coming in about 10 minutes, please stay tuned!!!

Just a note on the holster, if you push down on it with your thumb while pulling the gun it should pop out easier. Did you get your CWP yet?

i think being prepared is nothing but positive, you philosophy is that of a wise man.
i consider that fire arms are a good thing in the hands of an experienced person, who has trained and knows gun safety, i imagine this is your case.
nice review by the way

I like your way of thinking.
I just bought the all black sr9. I doubt I'll be able to get a conceal carry permit in Maryland. Because they are so strict...
