Hi, i love using mixcraft to make beats but when i make a virtual instrument track and i make a instrument clip, and i try to edit the sound and when i play a key on the left side, no sound comes out. And when i when i write a note, it comes up as a light blue instead of a normal blue like all the other instrument clips in my song. If i play the instrument clip with the light blue notes, no sound comes out. Im not sure what i did but i would greatly appreciate it if you could help me thank you

Why didn't you just hit the snap to 16th's before building the drum beat? Then you wouldn't have messed around with trying to fix the beats that were way off, and made worse by quantizing.

Why is it that when I choose the Electronic Kit, then press on the piano keys to hear the sounds I barely hear anything, and when I put a beat(which I don't even hear what I have put), on the instrument clip the notes aren't black but grey...

That is neat! I actually also have Beatcraft for doing beats. I never knew you could start a clip using a right click menu. Very handy.

Now that was a brilliant tutorial sample. This is just the kind of video I was waiting for. It's great to see how to use this MIDI step by step method and, how to change the tempo. It all sets the grounding beat genres for the creation of a song. I hope you do more of these. I'm off to look at part 2. I hope it continues on to show a complete track creation.
