Master sword beam does do damage to ganon, just start the fight with full hp. That's how to do it faster...

Once you get master sword, it's really easy to get him half down with shooting that beam thing from your sword... But I can imagine doing that in like 45 seconds with level four...

Awesome video and good job dodging the bats in the 2nd phase. I can say doing a low equipment run really makes you focus on playing smart rather than going all out. You also find out how much people (myself included!) over-exaggerate the difficult of some of the dungeons. The dungeons in general are not bad; the bosses in some cases ARE, especially considering Kholdstare, the eyeball boss, and Trinexx all can 3-hit kill you.

@BuyMeThingsnow when he starts to shoot out the fire birds at the end simply charge your sword, slip past his attack and release your charge on him right when he teleports. It may take a few hits considering you don't carry the strongest sword but he will die eventually

I feel sorry for you that you have to even ask that question. Seasons and Ages are both simply incredible. I'm doing a boss run of them right now. And they are both completely differant, full length games. Both taking place in a completely differant world with differant dungeons bosses and items. Go play them right now.

I've done this fight with the mirror glitch that Greenalink showed me on his vids. I used four hearts, no faeries, green tunic. Of course, I have not found a way to get the Master Sword without beating the Light World bosses(In this game, you are forced to pick up a heart container after a boss drops it) so I used a Lv3 sword.

It IS possible to get the Silver Arrows in the SNES version without powering up the sword... You only have to rescue the blacksmith to get the big bomb. Getting your sword tempered after that is entirely optional. I'm trying to beat Ganon in a minimalist run on the SNES right now and it's turning out to be really freaking hard... It seems that link's sword spin charge is faster in the GBA one somehow.

Anyways, gonna keep trying, just wanted to advise you of that. :P

For such a challenge they don't need to cheat, just be decent at the game; Ganon's attack patterns are fairly fixed so a little patience and skill would allow you to do this one without any mods, so kudos to him for doing this while limiting his weaponry as well!

Um just a note about "cutting you magic in half" thats a good thing.... When the 1/2 mark is above you magic meter it means everytime you use something that requires magic it takes 1/2 as much as it would normally do.
