I have mixed feelings about this bear guy. Little bit courageous, but mostly lost in his mind in his little grizzly bear world. It's obvious that he was somewhat unbalanced emotionally and mentally. But then again I guess it takes an unbalanced person to live in such an extreme way and produce such great footage in the process.

Look up Dr. Franc Fallico's name in Google, Hollywood seemed to have been so impressed with his acting in this film that he was offered many acting roles, that he turned down because he likes being a coroner.
Treadwell let instructions that his personal belingings go back to the care of the director of his foundation, which was Jewel's job at the time of his death.
The coroner is not making the decision, here, he is following instructions from the deceased.

u can see at 1:53 the bear does not tolerate treadwell and he should of recognised these signs and got the fuck out this guy would have never stopped tormenting the bears the only end for this guy was death he could have learned his lesson years ago but he choose to ignore the bears signs and kept going for his own self fulfillment and joy and never thinking of the bears he got what he deserved i feel sorry for the bears

Hmm, I think this guy knew how to read bears alot better than you, he is a bit of a nutter, but not in any particularly dangerous or nasty way, he had a passion, and he pursued it unlike most.
Whatever his effect on the world and the bears will be, atleast he is going to be remembered and his cause will live on in that memory.
Be a bit more respectfull for a man that did achieve something.

Irwin was one of the finest examples our species has ever produced, Treadwell might have been a bit nuts, but he did spend thirteen years with these bears, as i said, he can read a bear a whole lot better than you can.

It's not hoax these people are just lunatics. Some of the comments she made were fucked up and made no sense - also that's nasty if that watch wasn't cleaned which it probably wasn't. I mean, Tim was dead for days - I wouldn't risk having a watch that was on a corpse for three or more days unless it was heavily sterilized....

Looks like someone is a little sensitive about the subject of cleaning wrist watches. The watch was still in an evidence bag when it was given to the lady, so there's no reason to assume it was cleaned properly. Evidence is not cleaned when it is taken from the scene of a crime simply because it needs to be processed for fingerprints, DNA etc. In the case of treadwell, everyone knew what happneed so there was no reason to process the watch. It therefore, may have not been cleaned. Evidence bag?

Doesn't hurt as much as not being able to spell or use correct words. Like for example: He touched the bears NEXT while the bear wasn't LUCKING. Or saying I'm "TICK" as two short planks. Besides, why would I believe the watch had been cleaned? We are talking about Treadwell's ex-girlfriend here who seems at least as crazy as Tim. Maybe she asked for it not to be cleaned. Besides, these people are from Alaska, so processes such as sterlization and sanitation are lost to them. I mean, the guy who was cutting open the bag seemed like a complet fruitcake to me. Sounded like he agreed with what Tim did, so maybe, since he thinks bears are harmless he feels the same about bacteria.
