@bamdadkhan it does. i mean--i suppose i could change it, but canonical created launchpad, which sort of makes all of this possible. ill think about adding a debian port :S why not use ubuntu? personal choice?
@TheyCallMeConfucious Ubuntu never really worked for me, it's really buggy and eats up a lot of memory in my experience. and you know, since i customise the hell out of my system, i don't really need it.
ah, don't bother making a Debian version, since adding e.g. a 'lucid' repo as 'squeeze' is not the safest practice, and most of the repos don't have a sub-directory for debian. however, i'd really appreciate a 'search and display repo url only' switch, like --dry or --debian. :D

anyway, does ppasearch require apt-add-repository? because it's not included in Debian, and i don't really know where to get it from.
