Happy holiday to you! I totally agree with the whole gifts giving/receiving. For the longest time, I have always thought of the holiday as a time to spend with love ones, everyone getting together to enjoy the lovely food and company.
Can't relate to a "white" Christmas. Here in Southern California our family traditions are tamales, Mexican Hot Chocolate and lots of loving family and friends.
We open gifts on the 24th too. Everyone thinks that's so weird but that's what both sides of my family has done and same for my husband's. I also remember putting my shoe out for St. Nickolas in school when I lived in Germany.
When I was younger I loved when we'd put our shoes out for St. Nicholas to put stuff in (usually sweets). It felt extra special because I knew that my cousins back home in Scotland wouldn't be doing it and therefore wouldn't be getting anything. :P
This was a fun tag! We used to go to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany for a "destination" Christmas when I was a kid. It was always so much fun because we would spend the day on the slopes and open presents in the evening. :)

I just said that young kids probably don't watch this channel, and if they do they've probably figured out by now that Santa wasn't real, and that when adults were talking among themselves they shouldn't have to pretend to believe in Santa. @ashsmallz are you serious? TV has pretty much already ruined Santa for young kids, with things plastered all over the TV about what parents should buy their children. For example there is a commercial in the UK this year with little kids basically telling everyone their parents buy the presents.
This is a great video. It's nice to know what your doing this holiday. I've only ever had 1 "white Christmas" and that was last year but it didn't start snowing until well into the evening. I used to love Christmas and the whole holiday season but as I've gotten older the gifts and everything isn't as important and there's more important things to do/care about.
I love xmas packaging, it's my fav part about presents lol! more than receiving! i'm from europe too and we really celebrate the 24th night and the day too. people open presents on either day, i personally open on both days as we visit our family on the 25th. we don't celebrate santa claus, we only celebrate baby Jesus :)
I think like you with all the christmas gifts, but for the reason that I'm 16 now and i really don't have that much money to buy everyone a nice gift and I don't even think it's necessary. I also don't want other people to buy gifts for me. I just think it's sad that christmas is only reduced to gifts and money.
