Probably the most powerful dogs out there but more of a dog fighter than a working protection dog. I've seen too many video's of them almost killing a rott or pitbull in seconds-a total liability in NA if you dont have 100% control over the dog. 99.9% of people shouldnt own a breed like this one.

The dog is being taught that the bite sleeve is a "prey object" and the helper is the "motor" behind the sleeve, in an advanced game of "tug of war". Later, as the dog matures, the dog is put into "defense drive" and the agitator is the "bad guy". Notice that this dog is working more in defense drive than prey drive, because he continues barking at the man, even after he has "won" the prey object, the bite sleeve.

@iva90 Hey, i was wondering. Howcome they use LGD's such as the CO, CAO, Komondor etc but they don't use any of the white LGD's for protection training(bite sleeve) or temperament testing? Are they worse at protection than the popular LGD protection dogs like i mentioned above?

Same with the Tibetan Mastiff. They would probably be better protection dogs than most other LGD's, even the CAO no offense :P. Yet no one uses them!!!?

The pure white LGD's are more exclusively flock guardians and have been for centuries unlike CO, CAO and the like who have always also been used as guard dogs and therefore are simply better for this job.

Don't know about the Do-khyi but i assume it is because they are just so rare, especially good working dogs.

@RUSLANTAI people can also reason and make decisions, dogs put in fights DONT have that decision,, they are put in that situation by scumbags who enjoy violence,, but are too much of p***y's to step in a ring or cage themselves, so they do it to a dog. I used to do amateur MMA myself, i had the choice to go in there and get hurt,, but i would never push an animal into it. If i ever caught a scumbag fighting dogs, i would beat on them and teach them a lesson and let them know what it feels like.

Many people, especially in U.S tries to learn their dogs to bite this ridiculous sleeve like those IPO ones. It's against the nature of LSG dogs, and you're making another pets of these unique ancient dogs

Thank you for your comment. This breed is Natural Guard Dog. These videos is to demonstrate their ability, we don't train them.They know verbal commands, but if there is a threat they would eliminate it and then listen to you.Very smart, thinking breed.

i dont train my male, but i do no 4 a fact u dont let the dog bite the sleeve then pull it off, he is suppoed to keep a hold of the sleeve until told other wise. believe me

It depands on individual dog. CO are noisier. I am getting CAO only because of the short hair and they have not been waterdown as CO in USA.
