@emptynester7985 - Yes I think it's an advantage. They also seem to be more flexible in the lower and upper body which make it hard to manipulate their wieght. When I was in the college dorms I got into a serious wrestling match with volleyball girl who was about 5'9" 175 lbs (I was 6' about 160lbs). She was stronger than I throught - she destroyed me and when she pinned me it felt like she weighed more like 225lbs. The wieght in her thighs and butt made it impossible for me to buck her off.

I wonder if the lower center of gravity (hips vs shoulders) of a physically mature girl plays any advantage over a male opponent? any wrestlers/coaches want to weigh in on this?

@emptynester7985 - Yes I think it's an advantage. They also seem to be more flexible in the lower and upper body which make it hard to manipulate their wieght. When I was in the college dorms I got into a serious wrestling match with volleyball girl who was about 5'9" 175 lbs (I was 6' about 160lbs). She was stronger than I throught - she destroyed me and when she pinned me it felt like she weighed more like 225lbs. The wieght in her thighs and butt made it impossible for me to buck her off.

Funny, this is my video =p and no I didn't post it because I pinned a guy as I clearly stated on my video and it was my first year also...doesn't mean I pinned every guy. My younger brother was my weight too and he would be the one teaching me so it's no big deal...and the tap, well idk I don't even remember really doing that! Jus to clear things up

@chick1290 Well done. You used your skill and strength to weaken the guy so that you could pin him easily. Didn't take long either! And your comment about not pinning every guy shows you have the correct attitude. It's sport, and it should be fun too. Don't know why guys get offended by this. I have 3 daughters and they all wrestled at school. Some guys they beat and some guys beat them. But all of them accepted defeat the same way they accepted victory, with dignity and sportsmanship.

some guys reach puberty much later than when girls do. A post-pubescent girl is stronger than a pre-pubescent male and actually has that advantage over him. That's why u don't see any girls in 140+ in high school because they would be destroyed by the more muscular post pubescent guys.

alot of these "girl wins" videos the guys go easy on the girls because they dont want to "hurt" them. And some even forfeit the match if they are going against a girl and its seen by everyone as a victory for the girl.

@SuperSamharper yea they are up to about the age of 18. Their stronger cuz they mature faster but boys mature in their adult life way stronger and smarter then women. The value on a womans worth usually caps out at giving birth to more males.

@wjb4341 OK I admit, their stronger through the ages of 1 - 16 cuz they mature faster. But I do know that guys a lot of the time let girls win cuz it makes em hard. But do I believe an adult or upper teen woman can genuinely beat a man and their both actually trying? No of coarse not. Just look at them. Women have twice the fat men do cuz their designed to have men wreck them with their penis. After 1 pregnancy, the penis ruins the womas body, men have 2ice the muscle women do.

The girls and women I've gone up against have all had stronger legs than me and a lower center of gravity - even if you are the same size it feels like they out weigh you and it's very hard to get them off once they get on top of you. They can be just as strong as s guy in shoulders too if they work out - and they are always more flexible. If I think the fight is even they are actually kicking my ass because they wear me down - then they really kick my ass.

@908yuiop not really. happed to me last season. she gave me a hug after i got up after she pinned me. i was just wishing that the ground would open up and swallow me . i was embarrased stunneed demoralized so the hug didnt even phase me. had to walk across to shake the other coashes hand and then walk back to my bench. it was the longest walk of my life
