  • is there any substitution for glycerin? we dont really have it in our place..pls reply..

  • Hello mi name is Helena im from Colombia and i need to to present my chemistry project about bioplastics, could you say me how was your procedure to do the bioplastic so hard becouse i get it very soft ,and which were the materials, please help me !!!

    thanks !! and take care

  • @Roselen1993 Look at youtube com/watch?v=5M_eDLyfzp8&feature=related

  • Cool!

  • Maybe it's a good idea to apply some water based resin first, and then apply the bioplastic. Exactly how hard does it get? Is it as hard as normal ABS plastic?

  • Ive got a question , If you put the bioplastic when its in gel to the paper , the paper deforms ?

  • wow actually a non fumes form to make a replace to the resin, have a question have you tried the milk and vinegar bioplastic ?

    thanks

  • @locombianisimo01

milk and vinegar doesn't make plastic. it makes cheese. haha. not good at all for making armour. i've tried it. lol.

  • @hunterholy lol,but you could eat your helmet, have you tried corn starch or potatoe?

  • @locombianisimo01 No i haven't been in the 405th scene in a while...i made one helmet, and i pepped it, and then i covered it in elmer's glue and rubber cement for a hween costume. i used some partially clear binder dividers for the visor. It was pretty beast for only taking a week to make.

  • @hunterholy just for hween,ja no problem thanks for ur answer

  • @locombianisimo01 I have. It's not sturdy enough to make smth serious out of it. :( That's because casein is not a complete polymer, it's polymer-like. Starch-based plastic is complete polymer. I've cooked a piece of this plastic (potato starch + veg oil + water) and I can throw it as hard as I want and it doesn't break.

  • @nrz666 nrz i need to know more about your formula of potatoe veg oil and water.thanks so much!

  • @locombianisimo01 Mix 50% (vol) of potato starch and 50% of water. Then add a bit veg oil (2-3 drops per one tablespoon of starch). Then, the same: heat while stirring and then mold.
