He probably went back and read the writings of the earliest Christians, who substantiate what Christians throughout history have believed: that Jesus really is present in Communion. I heard a sermon in the car coming home tonite by a Calvary Chapel pastor in VA, and he was talking about the Publican and the Tax Collector parable. And I thought I don't want to be like the Publican pointing the finger at others, I want to have the humble attitude of the Tax Collector, which is where we all should be

i understood the verse to be about the one who brings back the one who back slid will save him from death and facilitate the forgiveness of many sins. Yes as Christians we can wander away. When Bob says "becoming apart of who you are" he is speaking about one's declaration and proclamation in the Lord. The purpose of communion is found in 1 Corinthians 11:26, "For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes."
By partaking in communion, you are saying that Jesus is Lord and you believe in Him and pledge your allegiance in Him, because you believe that the cup and bread represents his blood and body. It is the essence of it!

I do not condemn Pastor Bob. He probably went back and read the writings of the earliest Christians, who substantiate what Christians throughout history have believed: that Jesus really is present in Communion. I don't care about numbers, I attend a very small church myself, but the reason Washer has so many downloads is the passion he has for the truth, and the love he shows. I know it is not what is taught today, but it is certainly what the bible clearly teaches. I am glad to speak with you as well. If you have legitimate cause for concern regarding Bob, then warn people by warning them not to idolize him. To focus on the Word that he is preaching but not to put him on an unreachable pedestal. He is a man and he will let us down at some point. When Bob says "becoming apart of who you are" he is speaking about one's declaration and proclamation in the Lord. The purpose of communion is found in 1 Corinthians 11:26, "For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes."
By partaking in communion, you are saying that Jesus is Lord and you believe in Him and pledge your allegiance in Him, because you believe that the cup and bread represents his blood and body. It is the essence of it!

I don't think the restaurants are there to "feed the fornicators" I guarantee that's not their purpose. We're all sinners ... even you ... we all need to be forgiven. If someone wants to come to church for the food, great, maybe someone like you will take the time to minister to them in love, show them what the Bible says and pray they repent.
