michael j pollard portrayed aeolus in this adaptation. he has had a very diverse career as an actor and is quirky in many ways like lee marvin. aeolus was considered to be fickle as well in greek mythology.

however, the odyssey is about Odysseus and the best line of the epic is polyphemus screaming "Nobody has blinded me!"
