I own pokemon xd and colosseum,they were great but I really would perfer a normal game instead of collecting shadow pokemon and then had to purify every single one to be able to transfer them to ruby!

Mario kart wii (with less graphics) could beat this by a long way, although, i still think PBR will give some battling experience

to the less skillful, but to those who prefer even more than battling for the beginner, you might wanna stick to D/P untill you think you're ready for the real thing, otherwise, Rent this game or stay away from it.

This game was the biggest waste of money I've ever payed for. This game is just battle after battle, without a story mode of any kind.

I love Pokemon, I really do, but after Coliseum and XD, and how great they were, this is a MAJOR letdown, even if you import.

Wait, wait, wait... was that an Arcanine? Why does it look like the same one from the original game to me? And why do all the Pokemon have their original computerized voices? In the originals, as soon as they were let out of their Pokeball, they made more realistic cries and did their little intro moves. Now they have computer voices and just stand still. I love this game, don't get me wrong, but this has always bothered me! I was sooo hoping that they would fix this "problem" in PBR...

Theres no story mode, just play through colleseums of trainers.

U can do both online and this colloseum mode.

But i highly reccomend u going for Zelda or Galaxy before this game

You train your pokemon through the DS. Then you re upload them into the wii.

hey this game is better then any 3D battle game. The announcer is the same man who speaks in the series in the US version, pokemon walk up to each other to do physical attacks, there are custom made cards you can make, and with 4 gens of pokemon and wifi battling this will be the ultamate pokemon battle. WORLDWIDE!!

Oh and GT just says the bad things. The guy you hear in the background was born in the 90's and knows nothing about Pokemon. I should know
