I'm a 9ball player but common sense tells me snooker is much harder and your concentration has to be top notch to play it well.People that state otherwise think it lessons them as a player when anyone states snooker is a harder game.I've never heard anyone say 9ball is so much tougher than snooker,why? They are as hard as each other in different ways. I enjoy the challenge of different cue sports. Thats why i love players playing all different cue sports. E.G Mark Selby winning the WPC Uk8 ball or Steve Davis playing in the Mosconi cup.
All the variations of pool are equal difficulty. People need to realise this and start loving cue sports for what they are! :)

It is obvious that snooker needs the player to be more accurate when it comes to positional play and potting, considering the pockets are tighter, the table is 1 + 1/2 times the size and there are more balls on the table. What makes pool fun at any level is the characters & personalities in the poolroom. Todays players make it stiff. They are all too serious & silent. Mix it up a little. It's still just a game.
