  • Hey Revzilla.

I picked up my GM68 that I ordered from your website. I need a bit of help with the sizing though. My head measures just over 57cm, and I decided to get a small. It is quite snug and I definitely have chipmunk cheeks. However:

    - How much of my jawline should be covered? The bottom of the helmet guts (the padding) is just flush with my bottom jawline. is this okay? or should the helmet come a little lower than that? thanks, Fahid

  • Thanks for this video. I just bought a Bell Vortex for multiple reasons, followed the measurement guide, and it's so tight I can't believe it. It squishes my cheeks in like crazy. Turns out I have a round head, not an oval head, and the site I bought it from didn't bother to specify that. Now, do I do XL instead of L, or just go back to HJC? I wanted that transitioning faceshield!! Dang it!

  • @squashhead HJC is going to be your best bet if you have a round head. The RPS-10 from HJC is a great helmet, worn by Ben Spies in MotoGP.

  • In the beginning of the video you say Icon are intermediate oval, then you say they are long oval? - Which is it?

Very good video though, thank you :)

  • @rgaufman Sorry for any confusion. They fit somewhere in between. Not quite an Arai profile long oval but not the standard Shoei Intermediate oval that seems to fit most folks.
