@Dan39991 I learned a couple important lessons: practice on older, cheaper knives first and keep your wrist locked. I have successfully reprofiled an older CRKT M16 knife, but I still would like to get more practice under my belt before sharpening a more expensive knife. I'll stick with my Sharpmaker for now.

@gundude73 I had preordered the blue M390, but I was able to get $60 off of the ZT 0550 and couldn't pass that up. I had to let the M390 sprint run go for now. Unfortunately I can't get them all. :-(
Since the G10 can't absorb anything, there is pretty much nothIng that can actually stain those grey scales. When mine get dirty I just use a Mr. Clean magics eraser and they look like new again. :)
@jdavis882 I did not know that about G10. Thanks for correcting me. We have Mr. Clean erasers already around the house so I just need to use the heck out of that CTS-20CP model.
