None of these are computer reel to reels, they whouldnt have the bandwidth to record digital, apart from the digital machines but even they wouldnt be any use as a DATA machine
Yes, I have, this one in the video is not this same machine, it's a K1183, its a rare machine, sales prototype with a serial number of 2 (Second one ever sold), this one came originally from Sony's classical recording studios in Hanenberg.
I am jealous of the magnetophon's however i am lucky enough to have myself the ampex 354 all tube driven and stereo the transport is the same as the 350 but has the pr-10 remote. i will add a video and we can compare it to the studer.
but Seblington you could wind yourself a transformer for a fraction of what you could buy one for, it would be easy to build one that cuts the voltage in half.
Can some of these machines be connected as a computers memory?

@Seblington So most of them are Analog...?
What is the difference in bandwidth?
static1994 4 months ago
Its difficult to say as there are so many machines, the poorquality ones are arounf 50Hz to 6KHz, the pro machines are more like 25Hz to 33KHz

I missed one of thoes Ampex machines in the UK which is a shame, it was made to run on 240V (UK mains), well done!

Nice collection! Interesting to see the Butoba - quite a rare machine. So are most of the others, as well.
Tolle Sammlung! Viele raritäten.
