It needs to be made clear that the Church clearly supports Christian Meditation. The WCCM was an accredited part of the World Youth Day Festival and received this message from Cardinal Pell, Archbishop of Sydney: "There will be many graces touching your life during these days, I pray that the graces of contemplative prayer will also touch your hearts and enrich you for the rest of your lives. Time spent in quiet at the Christian meditation centre may be the moment for that grace to find you."
