  • Clay is a good natural shampoo. You can get it from amazon.

  • love "autobiography of a yogi" my fav book!

  • Dara, as per your recomendation, I purchased John Mc Cabe's 'Sunfood Diet Infusion' and 'Ignite your Life'....both currently on my bedstand. 'Sunfood Diet Infusion is out of this world full of great info and the cover of the book is the best ever. It's a photo of a chard leaf from his garden that he consumed after the photoshoot was over. I am sooo attracted to the cover. Great energy.

  • @jillr0

coffee is acidic and is disturbing to our mucous membranes.

we are better without it. :)

  • Just finished my evening bath, and settled in to watch this lovely beauty video. So soothing. My bedside books for now, are the three John McCabe books I ordered after you first introduced them in a video. Another is The Vortex, by Esther and Jerry Hicks, and The Crystal Bible. Thanks for this new nighttime series!

  • Dara,

I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I do not want to start taking medicine for it because I do not want to be on the meds for life. I want to know why and fix it. Do you have any suggestions for me? What can I do to get my thyroid working right?

  • Great stuff! I just started dry brushing and love it. I also am addicted to coconut all over me, my kids, in their hair, etc. I read a book about toxic beauty products and it's shocking what most of us put on or in our bodies.

  • Loved this video!

So relaxing and informative - would love to see more like this!

    <3

  • What a wonderful video, my dear Dara. I so love to learn about your spirituality, your believes, your spirit. You are such an angel! :) Great tips on natural hair/skin/body care. I also have skin brush but I find it very rough on my skin. My skin literally gets scratched. I have very thin, fair and sensitive skin. It gets irritated so bad when I try to dry skin brush it. The only area I dry brush is my back and it's ok. Maybe I will get used to it with time. Love you so so sososososososo MUCH!!!

  • This was fantastic. Love it! Please do more videos like this one. I reserved those books from my library too! Thanks Dara. :)

  • anyone who wants the best natural moisturizer for every part of the body, face, hands, feet, use only 100% natural Shea butter. Always make sure you massage it into moist skin and it is perfect! Organic Coconut oil makes great toothpaste

  • @immatzfati

    great!

  • @daradubinet 100percentpure(dot)com Great products!!

  • @immatzfati I'm am currently switching out to all shea butter moisturizer but I want to add some oil to it to make it a bit easier to put on. Do you think coconut oil would be good? Or Jojoba? and then adding some essential oils. Are you sure it's not too heavy for face? Can you recomend a particular type? I've been getting it at the farmer's market directly from the big nut. I'm assuming that is OK. Thanks

  • @upyourkarma you can mix it if you want. I've been useing it on my face now for several years and I have oily skin. I always put it on just after washing so my face is still warm and moist, I then put a few dabs on my checks, wet my hands and start to massage. The thing with oils is that they don't add moister, they help keep what moister we have on our skin in so as long as you wet your hands a little when you rub it in and not use to much you will have the best moisterizer.

  • @immatzfati thanks a bunch. I'll give it a go!

  • @crossan5

    thank you :)

  • BLESS YOU! <3

  • @strangerseducer

    bless you too!

  • Love it Dara! Thank you for sharing all this info :)

  • Coconut oil isn't always enough for my hands so I'll use Hugo naturals all over lotion. I love all the scents, especially the grapefruit and the lavender ones. I use their shampoo and conditioner too but tonight I'm gonna try coconut oil and baking soda. I'll let you know if it works out ;) I use straight up baking soda on my teeth. Toothpaste almost always has glycerin in it, which coats your teeth and doesn't allow them to be remineralized by your saliva. I use a sea salt and olive oil scrub

  • Yea Dara,

Way to tell women to stop using toxic chemicals on their nails, hair, ect!!!! Now tell them to get rid of all their high heels! Natural, non-toxic, hairy, beautiful, naked women! lol! Yea!

  • @VitalityMassage

haha. not sure about the hairy part. :)

  • Loved this video! I have noticed when I don't follow the heart felt guidance that I always wish I had. There is always a reason for it, sometimes it just takes time to see it.

  • I love this beauty series! I am a Dr. Bronner's and coconut oil girl myself.

  • @wjrsb58 Me too... except a guy.

  • @wjrsb58

and some essential oils and that is all we need! ;)

  • "I'm okay with being different" .....yes, I agree;-) thank you, Dara!!

  • @FitnessFreak7

yay. free to be us! :)

  • thanks Dara for sharing your experience. You are truly amazing... Much love to you

  • Thank you so much for this! :)

  • Oh and the shampoo I use is aloe vera shampoo by greenpeople. I have not found a healthier shampoo than this that works well. This is the best I have found, it also lasts ages.

  • I use tooth soap now, as it has next to nothing in most of the time. If you search tooth soap their website should just come up. I have also heard of putting sesame seed oil in your mouth for 20mins to pull dirt out of your teeth. (Pulling oils)

As deodorant I use a mix 1 part olive oil & 3 part coconut oil, both extra virgin cold pressed, and then I add some essential oils and mix well. The oils I personally like and have healing abilities are: Ylang Ylang & Rosewood organic essential oils.

  • I agree with that I think that most religions have the same message in the heart of the religion. :-)

  • I don't drink water anymore, because of the high fluoride content. I just get my liquids from juicing. How expensive are the filtration systems that filter out flouride and chlorine and all those nasty toxic chemicals? Thank you Dara for everything that you do and sharing your light! LOve you!!! :]

  • @msamiglow you should really consider buying distilled gallons from the store than, because its truly imperative that you drink enough fluids (from pure h20) to healp cleanse the cells daily... unless you drink ungodly amounts of juice

  • @trz541 I think if you only drink distilled water you have robbed yourself of needed minerals. I recently read that the best water is tap which has been filtered through charcoal. That way you are removing harmful chlorine etc, while leaving the natural minerals. Of course, bottled mineral water would be good as well

  • @msamiglow check out pure-earth(dot)com for information on fluoride filters :)

  • The crystal deodorant spray is even better...it doesn't get sharp like the crystal can! I also use Jason powersmile. =) Giovanni magnetic hair care shampoo and conditioner are my favorite.

  • First off, LOVE your vids Dara! I've been 90% raw vegan for 3 weeks now thnks to you! For a shampoo, may I suggest SheaMoisture's Moisture Retention shampoo? It's 100% natural & a favorite amongst curly haired girls, but it's great for dry hair, irregardless of texture. Shea butter, aloe, Argon oil, sea kelp, etc. You can find it at both Walgreens & Target. Now, it doesn't lather, but that's b/c there are no harsh ingredients (not even coco beta sulfanate, etc.)

  • LOVE ~LOVE~ LOVE this new series " beauty/nighttime with Dara". YAY ~I have the same Yerbe Mate dry brush as you do. I have added Thomas Moore to my book list. His books sound fantastic. Thanks for all of these great recommendations!!! We LOVE our Dara!!!!!

  • My Faves: Modern Organic Products (MOP) Mixed Greens Shampoo! Ecco Bella Vanilla Body Lotion (people stop me to ask me what I am wearing). Tubaki oil for my hair- I got it in Japan. It is from the Calendula flower and makes hair shine! I also love the products made by two women in Harlem: Coconut Papaya body lotion and body wash - all organic + the best (Dara:if you cant get it out there I will send to you!)

  • I have that book by thomas moore : ) As for beauty care, I'm down to washing my hair with shampoo once a week. I may rinse it well a couple time in between. I found a great conditioner at the natural food store called, Aubrey. I actually muscle tested the conditioners in the store and that one was the only one my body stayed strong.

  • Thank you for this video Dara. I will definitely be checking out those books. I've been slowly switching over all of my cosmetics, personal toiletries, household cleaners, ect. to products that are natural, safe, & chemical free. a while back I found a website called natures knockout which has been really helpful for finding natural products. The gals from the website also have a YouTube channel. They explain what chemicals to avoid in your beauty products. I think they're adorable & I trust th

  • I use Coconut oil on my face and body. It is a great cheap awesome product.

  • wonderful, wonderful video! loved the whole message, some of it spoke right to situations i have going on today. ;) and loved the book 'autobiography of a yogi'. something so special and lovely about the story...

  • Try Etsy for natural shampoos and conditioners (people who sell homemade).

  • Thanks Dara, your so soothing, the only person I can listen to all day everyday :)

This video is perfect for bringing daily awareness of how we need to stop and thing of ourselves. I meditate on the sofa, bed jacuzzi and on the passenger seat of our motorcycle. Sometimes hubby says did you see that and I'm so relaxed and enjoying my mediation in the son, I respond to him when I come back to reality....lol...<3 you girl!!! Thanks, GoGoGreenGrannie

  • Dara, I love your videos so much! Do your thang, girl.

  • Great video Dara!!! I loved it! Have you read anything by Esther and Jerry Hicks? Ever since I read one of their books I am totally hooked. You can listen to their live seminars on youtube also. I found the 2 books by T.Moore at my library, I'll go check them out tonight. Thanks!!!

  • You,re beautiful inside out.Coconut oil is amazing i eat cooked food and i use it.Great with sauted veggies.Inside smoothies after work out instant energy! I also use it for my skin and hair.Try coconut milk its an amazing conditioner i use it mixed with ayuverdic herbs for my hair.

  • oh and great video, learned so much, thank you!!

  • hi dara :) i recently ordered a sample kit from Odacite (i remember you had mentioned the brand in one of your early videos and really wanted to try it) and so far have really enjoyed their samples. the exfoliator is amazing as it has perfectly rounded jojoba beads so they don't scratch the skin. they feel like little bowling balls taking off the dead skin cells, love it and highly recommend to anyone interested. my skin is so smooth :)

  • I love all the wonderful things you shared, Dara. Love Thomas Moore. I often forget to care for myself like you noted. A good reminder. I have lost so much hair, because of the thyroid/Hashimoto's and can't get good care here. I do what I can with diet and healthy habits. Right now I am using the shampoo and conditioner from Dr Mercola. No Laurel Sulphate. Looks like healthy ingredients. Maybe you can review it? I did that "wrong timing" thing yesterday and it blew up. Got a shovel? Luv U. Thx

  • beautiful video.

  • Thank you so much Dara, some of your words tonight hit a few chords inside, I actually stopped and replayed them. This journey really is about more than just eating raw food, the spiritual transition can not be underestimated. *Big Hugs*

  • You're such a special spirit!Thank you:)

  • I can't wait to read all of these books.I put each one on hold at the library.Thank you for sharing these books so I can help preserve my life and heart :)
