  • He is very smart.

  • F*!£ I should be doing my essay. I want to go there as well. Damn you John Travolta with you're amazng actign Career.

  • His best role yet, that of a straight man?

  • Season 9, Episode 13: Episode #9.13

    Original Air Date—13 April 2003

    Interviewee: John Travolta

  • Fuckin' john travolta ah? FUCKIN' JOHN TRAVOLTA AH? he's been inside fleiss's pussy since seinfeld, the fuck.

  • one of the great charmers of public life - totally entertaining and humble as well, natural dancer, married for a thousand years......who wouldn't love that guy!

  • When was that? Did he have a hair transplantation? :p Because when I saw him last his hair line was way higher.

  • His parents sound like some really GREAT people.

  • I truly feel that james lipton is really a masterful host, very accommodating and very charming.

  • @gameboysmile9

    A god among men

  • john john john my second favirote actor

  • his impression of Brando isnt all that great. But he seems like a fun guy

  • John Travolta, a common guy who picked up the true persona of man and God at one, so he unfolded... what next? He has got more to offer when it comes to true originality than common actors because he stood firm all the way. There is reason to envy him because he's a real solid person, and unconsciously practices a wisdom that's rare unoticeably.

  • god, fucking dicaprio has to do this.

  • What a nice man. He speaks so warmly and humorously of his parents... it's good to see.

  • wow, he had the biggest eyes I've ever seen on a baby

  • he said his got three sisters and two older brothers and their actors!

never heard of any of them.

  • old dogs

  • he just kissed him

    gayyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • @DavidGLudwig i no ya..i was like FUCK!!!LOL

  • he always does his best work as a bad guy lol

  • Its obvious they were absolutley nuts and completly mad ...

  • I LOVE jOHN TRAVOLTA. HE IS DEFINITELY THE BEST, TALENTED AND SOOOOOOOOOOO HANDSOME!!!!

  • he certainly is charming, very cute!!!

  • hmmm...i wonder why he didnt mention battlefield earth..hahaha

  • hello Mr Travolta you sent me an autograph along time ago thank you my friend I wish i could make a movie about people with disabilities

  • travolta was good in classics such as saturday night fever, of course, but he then went the way of the washed up joke, until he did pulp fiction... that is the movie that made everyone decide he was cool again

  • @longfootbuddy Yeah totally. Actually it was Michael Madsen that Tarantino wanted for the part but for some reasons he couldn't do it. So Tarantino picked Travolta out of the "gutter" and then his career took off again

  • one person on here should grab a gun in each hand, point one on each ear, and shoot!

  • what a great family - my gooodness

  • Best one!

  • Travolta is a "True Rock Star" human being....

  • THIS MAN WILL MEET 90 YEARS AND WILL CONTINUE BEING BEAUTIFUL

  • Travolta was lucky to have parents like that. Not all of us are that lucky.

  • I've noticed that lots of A-list actors/actresses are part of Scientology; but I don't think that it detracts from any of their talents. Every religion in the world gets bashed, some just more publicly than others. I, personally, don't discuss religion because I feel that it doesn't define a person. To bring up religion is to start an arguement. I believe in God but that's as far as I'll go. The public should focus on their good deeds/works! I think John is awesome. One of my all-time faves. :)

  • He sounds like a very gay Brando, horrid impression lol

  • WOW. Travolta sucks at mimicry. I think that he must have enormous self esteem to do whatever role he wants and have no real fear of being bashed. Good actor, pretty sure just a weird dude.

  • That is the worst Brando impression I've ever seen!! How much confidence do u have to have to pull out those impressions on a televised stage

  • Travolta always comes across as friendly and reasonable and yet, he's neck-deep in the Scientology con/farce. It makes me wonder if his interview persona is just an act and in private, he's just as nuts as Tom Cruise, Kirstie Alley, etc..

  • @jksonny i agree osmething about people who are scientologists isnt clicky with me

  • @jksonny I completely agree, the scientology thing is seriously bonkers. I wouldn't wish this (cult) on anyone.

  • something about the intro music gives me a goosebump!

  • I like John, but he's a brutal mimic.

  • Damn, who wouldn't want parents like THAT?!

Mine were good too, but they didn't share my interests.

I only wonder how he avoided growing up to be a spoiled brat?

    Maybe he is one?

  • that Brando was no good...the voice was bad, but the facial features and dialogue was good though

  • at 3:22 John Travolta had HUGE EYES!! MY GOD!! THAT BABY LOOKS HIGH!! lol!

  • I thought you were exaggerating but then I started the video and at 3.22 I couldn't help but gasp at the picture ;) Still, he's cute. But that picture makes me think of the "Eels" album "Beautiful Freak" (if you remember the cover)

  • @kartikca Your eyes are the only part of your body that never grows bigger.

  • I still think his best was in Swordfish.

  • sounds like he had a fun childhood

  • Yeah, but he was a monster!!! Torturing his parents like that! :)) But his parents seem to have had a lot of fun too with him. I find it awesome, all the parents should have that devotion for their kids.

  • his Brando almost sounds like Capote

  • amazing observation dude...cudnt agree more..

  • when was this first aired?

  • I wana se John and Nic Cage reunite for another great film!!!

  • Man, i love Travolta, i think he's great and all, but his Brando impression sucks! Lol!

  • Even though he is old, he has this boyish innocence and charm about him.

No wonder people like him so much.

  • John is a close friend of my family. Only meet him twice but he is so down to earth and funny. Have not seen him is three years. I will always give him all my prayers for Jett His son. God bless you Jett

  • If John is a "close friend" of your family, why have you only met him twice and not seen him in three years???

  • John Travolta is one of the best actors ever to grace the big screen. He makes it looks so easy. The best actors dont try, the just do. brilliant!!!!

  • i loved this guy until he went all nuts and became a scientologist

  • don't worry... he will tire of it. he is intelligent, unlike Tom Cruise.

  • he became scientologist in 1975, and he became famous in 1976. So it was when you were loving him?

  • He KISSED LIPTON ?!!!

  • this was before his son died..poor johnny..he had great parents

  • so humble!!! Sucks that he's scientologist

  • I totaly agree, he just seems to be such a smart person. And yet he belives in something that's actually more stupid then an invisible man in the sky.

I never really bought him as a "badguy" in movies but damn after watching the latest with Denzel, I was like DAMN!!!

That reminds me why hasn't Denzel been on yet. Probably one of the most talented actors of all time.

  • He refused to come on the show as far as i know.

  • Wait who are you talking about??

  • Have you ever seen Face/off? He played a great bad guy and it was his "enemy" that he was playing.... He also played a great bad guy in The Punisher... I don't know what your talking about man...

  • Love John! Got to play Danny Zuko in a stage production spent my whole time trying to do it just like him can't beat the original!

  • "I'd run away from home every sunday" :) I luv him

  • I like the man, but that cliched Hollywood kissing on the cheek irritates me.

  • Yeah, but his Nic Cage is spot-on. He sounds more like Nic Cage than even Nic Cage.

  • Was this episode filmed before A Love Song For Bobby Long was filmed? I'd love to hear him talk about that film... I loved his character

  • I'd like a Cheese Royale...

  • one of the best

  • man...the day james lipton dies is going to be a truly sad day.

  • @petermisch what a horrible, yet illuminating and real thought, totally agreed

  • @petermisch trying not to think about that , enjoy the show

  • @petermisch stop D: ull make me cry

  • @petermisch I agree, he seems like a really nice guy - not given enough credit.

  • @petermisch dont scare me

  • @petermisch What a very morbid comment

  • @petermisch I agree. He has done a HUGE, almost immeasurable service to actors worldwide by doing this show and interviewing these people. I'm sure he will be talked about by many long after his death.

  • lovely anecdotes. He's charming and interesting.

  • R.I.P Marlon Brando.

  • He's so charming :)

  • john is incredible, really, definetely one of the 20 best actors ever

  • when was this filmed?

  • BLOW OUT greatest Travolta movie ever

  • Fuck no, FACE OFF IS DA BEST !!!!!

  • John Travolta is of a very rare breed- I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet him, his wife Kelly and their daughter Ella a couple years ago while they were spending their Christmas in Maine. He was very down to earth... needless to say it was quite a surreal experience!

  • New Jersey has a lot of good actors

  • i love you John Travolta!!!!!!!!!
